Shaun called. "Dismissed!" Everyone left the square.

Michael John's vampires picked up his parts and brought them to Katey.

"Kylie?"

"Yes Councilman Klaus." I turned to face him.

"We were able to heal their bites. They are going to be fine."

"Thank you Sir." I bowed to him and the rest of the Council.

"You might want to ease Katey's mind. She was very upset."

"Yes Sir. She is very fond of them."

The West Minster group returned their clothes were covered in blood.

"Colleen can you bring them to one of the storerooms. Please?"

"Of course Sir." She bowed and led the way.

All the Guards that Shaun dismissed brought up buckets of water and straw brooms to clean the square.

"Thank you." Councilman Klaus said. They bowed back.

Paddy, Rachelle, Samantha and I went to the kitchen to check on Katey and the children.

"Oh thank the Gods you are here. I can not tell if they are all right or not. All I smell is blood."

"It is all right Katey. That is why we are here."

"That brutal man. I hope he dies in hell."

"He did." Paddy told her.

"Good."

"Where are they now?" I asked.

"The Council brought them to their beds."

We went to their quarters. They were sleeping peacefully in their beds. The bites were healed.

"They are asleep. Not dead. Right?" Katey whispered.

"Yes Katey. We can hear their heartbeats." Samantha reassured her.

"Thank the Gods."

Paddy quickly checked them. He nodded to me. "All right. How about we let them sleep?" He whispered. We left. Katey was still agitated. We went with her.

"That awful man. He tormented those children. I do not think I will ever forget the sound of his voice." She shrived. "Or his smell. Yuck!" She paced the kitchen.

"I hope they do not have nightmares because of what happened. They have been through enough in their young lives."

"They should be all right Katey. They are tough." Rachelle told her.

"Yes you are right. I have never seen such children that can handle everything with ease."

"They must have a good bloodline." Paddy said smiling at me.

"They must have." Katey said. "Paddy would you like something to eat?"

"No Katey. I am fine."

"Are you sure? It is no trouble."

"Yes Katey. I am sure."
