Chapter 40

Y/N POV

After last night Lizzie has yet to let me out of her sights. Even when I go to the bathroom she stands at the doorway. I can't blame her too much I did say to enjoy the time we have now and I guess that is what she is doing. However, she will have to let me out of her sight today because she has to go to set today. She is not excited at all. She has been begging me all morning to come to set with her but I told everyone I would stream today. I have to put the hours in if I want to make my dream come true. As a compromise, I told her that I would make dinner for her and we could take a bath together which made her all happy again. I am clearing emails and catching up on Discord while Lizzie finishes getting ready.

Soon she sneaks her way into the office and wraps her arms around me from behind. "I have to get going," she tells me kissing the side of my head.

"Okay, I will see you at the end of the day. Go be a movie star," I respond turning my head for a quick peck. At least I thought it was a quick peck until Lizzie grabs my cheeks and squishes them together. She gives me a slow loving kiss instead then releases my face. While I'm gathering my thoughts Lizzie smiles and waves goodbye. She's evil I tell you. Evil. I calm down and get back to work preparing for the stream. I ask a couple of friends to see if they are getting on and a couple respond. Some are going to play COD and some are thinking about Minecraft. I don't care which one we play. I also saw a message from Rae that she sent last night so I opened that up.

Rae: Hey Y/N! It was fun playing with you and Lizzie last night. I just wanted to let you know that Abe and Miyoung are going to start a Minecraft server and ask me to invite you! If you would like to do it let me know and they will message you the instructions.

Me: It was fun playing with everyone last night! It's so weird playing with everyone when they aren't streaming. Everything is much more calm. I would love to play the server! Let me know what to do and I will do it!

I hit send and hop into Discord with two of my friends. "Hey guys, how's it going?" I start.

"Good, are you going to stream today?" One of them asks.

"Yeah, I was thinking some Fortnite first?" I ask hoping that they will join me.

"Sure I'm down," they both respond.

I tell them I am going to start my stream and open up Fortnite. During the first 30 minutes or so I start with just chatting so I can allow time for people to come in and I can greet some consistent people as well. I appreciate anyone that comes in but I especially appreciate the people who are the ogs. After just chatting my friends and I started playing. We lose a couple and win a couple of course. There are some funny moments like my friend falling off a mountain and me going to revive him. Then I take the same fall and we both die.

After Fortnite, I get a message from Rae asking if I can play Valo. I say goodbye to my friends and go into Rae's discord. "Hey Y/N, do you by chance have a fifth?" she asks as soon as I get on the call.

"Uh no sadly. Aren't you the one with all the connections?" I ask jokingly.

"Well yeah but people aren't responding," she tells me with a giggle.

"Have you asked that dude Blau? He looks pretty good," I offer.

"Oh yeah you haven't met him yet huh?" she responds.

"No, but he seems cool," I shrug my shoulders and look over at chat. I just see a whole bunch of question marks so I mute myself. "What is with all the question makes?" I ask them and the comments instantly start rolling in. I see them asking how I know Rae and when I met her. "I played with her and a couple of other people last night and she just asked me to play. What is the big deal?" I laugh a little and unmute myself. "So we got a fifth?" I ask.
