y/n spent her whole day training the crows, working on their weaknesses. the crows seemed to lack in their speech ability, having some flaws in the ways they articulate their words. a few weeks time, the crows would have to enter a test to see if they are worthy of being a kasugai crows of the demon slayer corps.

it was already nightfall. y/n had dedicated her whole afternoon and evening to training her crows, forgetting to eat.

the thought had slipped off her mind completely since she was so busy, stressing over for the crows. the crows had to go through a series of test for the final selection test.

members of the demon slayer corps has to go through the final selection test to decided whether or not an individual is worthy of becoming a demon slayer. the crows had one too but they don't get stuck in a mountain filled with filthy demons.

the crows had to carry a series of messages to slayers that are scattered all around the province. following on, they have to fly back to the l/n estate to convey the replies. they would then have to send out letters to different slayers at different provinces and give accurate information back to the l/n estate. the whole test would be in the span of 10 long days. over 100 messages would be passed on in a day.

y/n was confident that this years' batch of crows would pass but at the same time, she was afraid that they would get preyed on demons that lurked around the corners of the province.

wiping off the sweat away from her face, y/n decided to get a warm shower and call it a day. the crows went into rest mode since it had been an exhausting day. y/n's crow, tsuki however was worried for her owner.

lady y/n have yet to eat... i should remind her!
the crow thought to herself and waited for her to exit her shower.

just then, the said girl in a (colour of choice) kimono with beautiful (flowers of choice) adorned on she came out of the shower. her hair was damp due to the water. tsuki perked up at the movement and flew to y/n's shoulders.

"lady y/n, you have yet eaten anything since morning."
the crow said in a rather worried tone. a wave of realisation dawned over y/n.

it slipped of my mind... most of the stalls would be close as of now. i'm kind of lazy to cook anything right now. the ramen shop yesterday should be open... should i head there for dinner?
y/n then made the decision to go to the ramen shop... alone.

she asked tsuki to watch over her in the skies as a precaution since nobody was by her side. it was a risky move since she had never really step foot out of her estate. she entered the ramen shop with the enthusiastic owner greeting her. multiple customers glanced at the h/c-haired girl in awe of her beauty.

the hormonal kakushis eyed her carefully. y/n pushed away those stares and ordered her ramen.

"what a flamboyant time it is to see you lady l/n!"
