PEACE | demon slayer

"KAW LADY L/N ALERT!"
a crow flew into the l/n estate. y/n was in the midst of training her crows when a crow mysteriously squawked. clapping her hands, she stopped her training with the crows and listened to the frantic messenger. 

"what's wrong yin?"
y/n asked the crow who was panicking. it had a bloody wing, signs of damage was evident. y/n hurried with her medical supply to treat the crow. 

"asakusa! i landed a mountain northwest nearby. t-then..."
y/n cleaned the scratch on the crow's wings, mentally sighing at the scratch. she thought that it would be something more serious and was hence relieved that it wasn't a major injury. 

"t-there was 10 dead crows piling up."
y/n had accidentally dropped the medical supply, causing the contents to spill over. y/n thought; calm yourself down.

"kaw! i manage to e-escape from a demon there. it was an upper moon. one of them could fly! and... and yang s-saved me. yang got..."
yin burst into tears, the droplets cascading down like a waterfall. y/n heart felt like it was going to be ripped out by the sight of her crows in pain. yin and yang were brothers. they wandered across countries to survive and that was when they decided to reside in the mountain y/n lived in since there were numerous bird towers for them. 

those two were inseparable. they slept together, ate together, soared the sky together. y/n caressed the yin's head. a small tear leaving her eyes. 

"i'll go investigate it. don't worry, do you know the rank of the upper moon?"
y/n asked softly, cleaning up the mess she had made after bandaging up yin's wings. 

"four"
yin gulped and moved closer to y/n. with a nod, y/n brought yin to a specially designed crow infirmary. the crow had rested there and y/n got to work. 

bringing out a pen and paper, she started drafting out her letter to kagaya. 

Dear Kagaya,

I hope you are doing well. My messenger crow had just informed me of demonic activities in a mountain northwest of Asakusa. Over 10 crows were spotted deceased. My crow reported that the demon is Upper Moon 4 and it seems to be that the Upper Moon has more than one body. One of them carry the ability to fly. 

From Y/n. 

y/n rolled up the short letter and that was when she realised, tsuki is aiding the sound hashira in patrolling the red light district. she had to ask help from an existing training crow. 

"i need a volunteer to send this letter to kagaya." 
y/n voiced out, looking at the crows resting. their heads perked up at her voice and immediately, they volunteered. 

"chizuya, please help me deliver this letter safely to the ubuyashiki estate."
y/n passed the letter to the shy crow who in fact did not volunteer for the job. the soft-spoken crow could not disobey her trainer's orders and accepted the job. y/n watched as chizuya flew in the direction of the ubuyashiki estate. 

"back to training." 
those words made the crows slump and get up to their usual perches.
