the sun rose up with grace, illuminating the earth, bringing light to the world. y/n bathed in the sunshine while doing her laundry. the wind whirred around, blowing the autumn leaves on the ground. the brown, orange leaves fell down after being mixed in the air. the constant sound of the water thudding on the basin ricocheted in the garden of the l/n estate.

numerous crows were practicing their flight and getting warmed up since it had been a chilly night.

she had a great night sleep since she received the news that uzui had managed to defeat an upper moon. a feat that has not been able to accomplish in the past 100 years or so. she was elated at the news and wanted to pay a visit at the sound hashira estate to show her gratitude.

upon receiving the news, she sent tsuki out to inform the two pillars at the asakusa mountain since kanzuburo and sorai had no way of informing them without knowing the piece of information. y/n could have used her ability to inform the two birds but decided not to since tsuki was excited to take flight to another region again.

as bizzare as it sounds, y/n has the ability to whistle which only affects the kasugai crows to be summoned to the l/n estate. y/n didn't know how the ability worked but she just knows that she tried out that ability when she was 7 and caused a crow madhouse in the l/n estate.

as she finished hanging her laundry, she went to prepare her breakfast. tsuki had returned from her mission and was currently taking a well-deserved nap. shiro was wandering around the estate, poking his head for food that y/n had accidentally left out.

"KAW! KAW! LADY L/N!! VISITOR! VISITOR!"

"KAW! LADY L/N! VISITOR! I WANTED TO SAY IT FIRST!"

"HAHAHAHAH KAW! TOO BAD!"
the crows exclaimed at each other. y/n chuckled at their childishness and asked,
"who is the visitor, toma?"

"KAW! WATER PILLAR! KAW!"
y/n's head perked up at the crow's words.

is he done with the joint mission? where is shinazugawa-san? is he not coming? oh my... i need to prepare more food then! the girl's thoughts were a little messed up since she didn't expect the water pillar to reach so early.

a few minutes ticked away and the water pillar knocked on the doors of the l/n estate. y/n slightly yelped at the sound. washing and wiping her hands in the kitchen, she opened the doors to see a tired pillar who ascended and descended a mountain, travelled across regions, killed at least 10 demons on the way back and had been awake for the whole day.

"y/n."
giyu bowed down at the girl. he was lethargic from the night's activity. desperately wanting sleep and food, he internally regretted his decision to visit the young trainer since he would be nothing but a burden to her. he should have rested in his estate before coming to hers.

"giyu! please come in, you look really tired."
y/n stated in a worried tone. she was afraid that the water pillar would pass out from exhaustion. she led the water pillar for a seat. she then prepared tea, pouring warm sencha for the male who was about to fall asleep anytime soon.

approaching the male, y/n handed the glass to giyu who drank it, savouring the taste to the tea. muttering a thank you, y/n took notice of his fatigued face and blooded haori.

"would you like to rest in the guest room while i prepare the food?"
giyu nodded as y/n brought him to the room he had rested in before.

"thank you, y/n. i appreciate it."
y/n smiled gently at his words.

"it must have been tiring. please rest until your heart's content. i can wash up your haori, the sun is great today."
y/n offered. giyu wanted to decline the offer since he could have asked the kakushis to do it instead. however, y/n had a look of determination on her face, like she wasn't going to take 'no' as an answer.

stripping out of his haori, giyu handed his haori to y/n who handled it with care.

"if you like to use the showers, it is in the room on the right."
with a nod, y/n left the room to prepare the food.
