MODERN DAY JAPAN.

"OI WAKE UP Y/N! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE"
the said girl let out a loud groan before hiding herself in her blanket as her mother opened the curtains. sunlight filled the room, encasing the whole room in its rays.

"too... damn early..."
y/n's mother sighed at her child before pulling her blanket away.

"you have 30 minutes till school starts. it's on you if you're late."
m/n huffed before leaving y/n's room door open.

"close the doorssssss and my airconnnn noooooo..."
with a grunt, y/n could feel her cat jumping on her bed.

"shiro... food is outside... not me..."
the white furball licked y/n's face incessantly, as if she was telling her to wake up.

i shouldn't have played games with mitsuri-chan and rengoku-kun at night...

with one final ounce of her efforts, y/n pushed herself off her bed and opened her birdcage where her crow resided in.

"g'morning tsuki... shiro please stop licking my legs..."
y/n looked at her cat who continued doing so. with a small smile on her face, y/n picked shiro up and gave him a big kiss on his snout. the cat replied with a meow of delight.

tsuki, a crow that she rescued on a fine night where the full-moon shined, was her flying companion. despite giving the crow to fly out of her house, she refused and hence y/n finally decided to give her a name and love her.

"good morning mui-kun, yui-kun."
y/n greeted her neighbours with a smile. the two kids ran towards the fence, ditching their game of tag as they saw their favourite sister-figure.

"y/n-nee!"
muichiro beamed, waving at the girl energetically. y/n smiled at them, waving back too.

"you guys are up early."
y/n stated. muichiro sweatdropped at y/n's words. a flash of guilt on his face.

"mui kicked me in the morning during his sleep and i got awoken by it."
yuichiro replied, eyeing his twin. muichiro who had a sheepish smile on his face, muttered a sorry.

"y/n-nee, are you visiting after your school? papa said that we're having family dinner!"
muichiro asked. he had overheard his parents chatting with y/n's parents on dinner plans.

y/n nodded and ruffled muichiro and yuichiro's hair in the process.

"i'll see you two later. don't cause too much trouble."
the twins had bright smiles on their faces as they nodded before exchanging their 'byes'.

"gyomeiiiii..!"
y/n waved at her other neighbour who was the same cat lover as she was. a calico cat was magically settled on his head as he watered his flowers.

"it's great to see you in a good mood y/n."
gyomei smiled. y/n kept her laughter in since she did had trouble getting out of bed. just then, 3 other cats exited the house and jumped over the white fence to greet y/n.

the girl didn't know why but animals were crazily attracted to her. which was weird because it runs in the family— her mother too had that ability.

y/n squatted down to give the three cats love. the cats meowed in delight. i bet shiro is jealous. y/n internally chuckled at herself as she gave the cats kisses.
