CHAPTER FIFTY-EIGHT: BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE

Natahimik ang lahat sa mesa at si Josh naman ay kalmadong inilapag ang mga ginamit na kubyertos. "I'm full."

Josh stand up and was about to walk away but Mama stopped him. "Josh anak. Don't leave your food unfinished."

"Okay." Sagot nito saka bumalik sa pwesto at kumain.

Tumikhim naman ako at nagsalita. "About pala dun sa pagpapauwi mo sa akin. May kailangan ka bang ipaasikaso or something important to discuss with, Papa?"

"Ah, yes. Tomorrow was Von's birthday and I have something to announce on that special day. You should dress formally." Papa said as he drink his wine.

"Ah, okay. Expect me to be there." Pagsang-ayon ko at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

Natapos ang kainan ng walang imikan.

Mom approached Josh and lead the way to his room while Von and I go to the parking lot. Uuwi na kasi siya. "I'm sorry sa mga narinig mo kanina."

"I understand, Zia. Lahat ng tao may problema." He answered as he gave me an assuring smile.

I smiled too. "Thank you. Drive safely."

"I will." He said as he entered his car. Bumusina pa ito ng tatlong beses bago umalis.

I was about to enter our house when kuya Zairhy spoke at my back. "Cane."

Lumingon ako sa kanya at sinagot ito. "Oh, kuya. What do you need?"

He smiled and hug me "Kamusta? Kamusta sa Cebu?" Tanong nito at kumalas sa yakap.

Alanganin akong ngumiti sa kanya. "Okay lang."

"Bakit parang hindi ka ata nag-enjoy?"

"Uhm, marami lang akong inasikaso dun kaya hindi ako masyadong nakapaglibot." Palusot ko.

"Ahh, kaya pala parang matamlay ka. Magpahinga ka muna. Alam kong pagod ka sa biyahe." He said as he pat my head.

"Oo, magpahinga ka rin." I replied as we both enter the house. Pumasok ako sa kwarto ko at agad na naglinis ng katawan saka humiga sa kama.

I was in the midst of resting myself when Yñigo's face flashed into my mind. Kamusta na kaya siya? Hinanap niya ba ako? Did he even care for me?

I reached my phone and go through messages. Text lang ng sekretarya ko ang nandun at text ng mga kaibigan ko. There was no messages from Yñigo. Well, maybe one month in Cebu was just an another steamy hot pleasure that we both shared. Damn! Nagpadala na naman ako! And he still blame me for what happened four years ago.

Hindi ko na namalayang nakatulog na pala ako sa ganung posisyon.

I wake up feeling dizzy. I felt like I want to throw up. Agad akong pumunta sa cr at sumuka sa lababo. Hindi na halos ako makahinga dahil suka ako ng suka. Damn! Anong nakain ko at sumusuka ako ng ganito? What's happening to me?

Nang medyo okay na ako ay nagmumug ako at nag toothbrush. Napatingin ako sa salamin. May sakit ba ako? Maybe I'll visit Jarren afterwork.

Naligo ako at nagbihis. I just wore a dark brown trouser partnered with a black long sleeve polo. Then I just put a little make up and tied my hair in a pony tail. My hair grows as I barely cut it in the past four years. Hangang bewang ko na ito and it's wavy. It has a shade of red and orange. Ginger as what they said.

I get my handbag as I ready myself to go downstairs. Naabutan ko pa sila na kumakain. "Hey, Cane. Come and join us." Pag-aaya ni Kuya Zairhy sakin.
