41. the promise

I felt someone stroking my hair softly. I slowly opened my eyes and saw draco. "Hello, love" he said "hey" I said trying to get up but can't my body went limp

Draco helps me get up but I can't move a muscle "I can't walk" I whined "that's what she said" he said I laugh weakly then the door opened and sirius and remus got in

"Hey jackpot, how're you feeling?" Remus asked "she said 'I can't walk'" Draco said "that's what she said" I joked

"Jackie!" Both my uncles yelled "ok yeah he's right I can't move a muscle" I said
"Piggyback?" He offered his back which I gladly accept

Sirius and draco walked out before us and we followed behind. Then I start singing.

'Just the three of us-'

"What?" He said

'We can make it if we try,
just the three of us-'

"Oh shit, there's also teddy" I said "who's teddy?" he asked "yours and tonks' son of course" he smiles

'Just the four of us-'

"What about harry and sirius aren't they gonna be with us?" He said "no" I whined

"Mr sirius black has already chosen harry so he can f-" he turned to me "he can live with him" I smiled  "Is that so?" We heard sirius saying from the kitchen

"It is so" I said as we reached the kitchen and remus placed me softly on the chair "we need to hurry up or we're gonna be late for Harry's hearing" I said hurrying and start eating fast they all fell into silence.

"Jackie, Harry's already coming back home from his hearing" hemrione said "oh no how could I be this late" I pulled my hair tight with my hands "love I thought I told you to stop doing that" Draco said

I let go of my hair "so you don't remember what happen last night?" Ron said "what happen last night? I slept after the argument right?" I said clueless but everyone went silent again

I read all their minds and they were thinking the same thing. last night they gave me a sleeping potion. "Good one actually. I'm glad you didn't lock me up in the bedroom" I laugh

"You're not mad?" Draco said "no I'm not its ok it's past now" I said as I kept eating harry always says 'if one thing is just a minute after, it's already in the past'

And I always follow that word.

After eating breakfast me and draco went to my room "um, jackie I wanna give you something" he said nervously

"Ok?" I said as we both sat on the bed. He pulled out a box and opened it. It has two rings one with a moon and one with a sun printed on it.

"Draco-" "Listen to me, this isn't an engagement ring, I wanted to give you this because I wanna promise you something. Jackie I've known you for five years. I've also loved you for five years and I will always love you for the rest of my life. For the first time I saw you I felt something that I've never felt in my entire life and I knew I was in love with you when you humiliate me infront of the whole school" I laughed

"And since that day I always wanted just to watch your beautiful face, to watch your hair changing colors, when you first have word with me your hair turned brown and the next day I spent all the time in the library trying to figure out what brown means and when I found out it meant disgusted, I decided to test your feeling by dating your enemy" my eyes were filled with tears

"And the night you kissed me all the tiredness left my body and I spent the entire night replaying it. When I found out that you were hurt I couldn't control myself and I broke down infront of my friends, and when I saw you laying in the hospital wing I wished it was me instead of you" he cupped my cheeks

"Everything you do makes me to love you even more. When you slap me for saying bad things about hermione, when you stand up for Ron, breaking rules for your brother, when you see the good in people that nobody else doea and I always asked myself how could a person love some one this much and whenever I asked my self that, I see myself."

"I love you and I'll always love you to the moon and the back" he said and kissed my lips softly

"And I wanted to give you this because I wanted to promise you that no matter what happens between us I will always love you forever and ever and ever and ever" I laughed at him being childish

"So will you accept this promise ring" I nodded "yes" I said.

He grabbed the moon and put it around my ring finger and I put the sun one on his. Then I pulled him into a passionate kiss. the kiss starts to get heated when the door opened and sirius came in

"Did you-?" He looked at draco "you knew?" I asked "all of your parents belongings are with me so draco asked mine and moony's permission two days ago and I gave him James and lily's promise ring that James bought when they were only fifteen like you" he said

"So moony also knew?" He nodded "it feels good to have three dads doesn't it?" I hug sirius but he was petrified "what?" I looked at him

"You called me your dad" he said "yeah, dad" I smiled his eyes were watering "I have two dads at the moment" I said hugging him again "thank you jackpot" he said

"Hugging without me are you?" Remus came to the room and joined the hug "come here son you're a part of this too, but I'll let you know you hurt her, and I'll make sure you don't exist in this planet" remus warned draco

"Is this phase a family thing?" He asked. I laughed while they stared at him confused "harry said the same thing to him" I said

I was happy that my family accepted draco as he was. Didn't care about his family and didn't care about him being a malfoy. And I'm gladful for that.

Also I heard that Dumbledore made draco his undercover agent. And he's a secret person to the order and if he hear something odd he'll inform us.

I wanted this to end as quick as possible because I can't see draco get hurt or pushed to go something he doesn't want to, especially because of his father.
