Derek's POV

I go back to my mates' house with Leon and his parents, they said that I can stay here, so I texted Scott that I will be staying here now.

I will just have to get a few things from there in the morning, but for now I help my mate walk upstairs, since he's in a lot of pain, and he refuses to let me carry him.

His parents, that I learned are named Carter, Timmy and Mason, said that they will makes sure that my kid is fine, and Peter seems to like them, because he happily went with them without pouting, which made me smile.

So, when Leon and I reach his room, I help him lay on the bed, and I lay next to him, letting him cuddle me.

It's already an early morning, so I doubt that I will fall asleep, while my mate is already sleeping.

I just lay there for the next four hours, and I think I have actually fallen asleep for a while after all.

When my mate wakes up, he startles a little, as if not remembering that I'm here, which makes me laugh slightly.

Then we get ready, and we go down the stairs, where a lot of people greet us, which makes me wonder if all of the people in this family are used to waking up this early.

There are three teenage boys, along with their three parents and my son, and they're all smiling at me.

I smile back, and then Leon leads me to the dining table, so we can have some breakfast.

When we're done, I take Leon to the couch, and I let him sit there, while Mason and I go to Scott's house, to take my stuff from there.

I don't really have many things, but Noel gave me some clothes, and other things for Peter and me.

We manage to take everything at once, and I make sure to thank Scott and his family for letting me stay with them.

When we get back to the house, I can smell that Noel is back, so I decide to speak to him about everything, but when I reach the room that has his scent, the door is locked.

"Noel?" I ask him, but he doesn't respond.

I concentrate a little bit, and I can hear that he's crying silently on the other side of the door.

"I want to be alone for a bit." He finally tells me, so I sigh in annoyance, before I decide to go to my other mate.

"Whatever." I say, before I go down the stairs.

When I reach the living room, Leon tells me that he told Noel that we know that he told someone to beat him up.

I sit on the couch next to him, and I let him hug to me, soon my son comes here, and he starts to talk with us about something for a while, until Carter takes him for a walk, letting Leon and I get some rest.
