Derek's POV
I told Noel that he's welcome to stay with Leon and I in his brother's bedroom, because I don't really want to leave him alone, and I can't leave Leon for a night, because he's very weak and he needs help if he has to stand up.
Noel said that he prefers to stay in his room for now, because he's feeling alright, but I know that he would like to stay, although he's too shy and stubborn to admit it.
Today, Leon's feeling a bit better than most of the days, which still isn't great, but he's fine enough for me to leave him for a while.
So, I go to Noel's room and I walk inside without knocking.
"Why are you angry this early in the morning?" I ask him, when I see his expression.
"Because I thought that I will be able to skip school, but my parents said that I have to go there, until I won't be able to cover my stomach well enough." He explains.
"At least you will only have to go there for a month, that's when Leon started to show this much if I'm correct." I tell him, and I give him a hug that will hopefully make him feel better.
It doesn't help much, because my mate only rolls his eyes, before he continues to get dressed.
"It's unfair that Leon gets to skip the whole year, while I still have to go." He tells me.
"He will most likely have to go later on, while you will be staying here." I tell him, but he shakes his head.
"Our parents will let him skip the rest of the year, because he will have to take care of the baby." He tells me.
"You didn't know this." I say, and he chuckles, before he turns his head to look at me.
"I have a lot of brothers, and I remember what my parents expected from them while they were pregnant." He tells me.
"Then why did you expect them to let you skip the school this early in your pregnancy?" I ask him.
"Because my older siblings were able to choose if they wanted to go to school, before they were showing too much, and some of them decided that they didn't want to, which my parents accepted.
Even Hugh didn't have go to school when he was pregnant, so I have no idea why I have to go." He tells me.
"Well, that's not very fair then. Did you remind them that your siblings had a choice?" I ask him, and he nods.
"Yeah, and then papa got annoyed, so that got me annoyed, and it ended up with tata almost shouting at me to leave the living room, to get ready to school." He says.
"Alright, go to school today, so they won't be angry at you, and I will try to talk to them, maybe they will change their mind." I say, and he gives me a grateful kiss, before he moves to get out of the room.
