Trouble Should Not Be Double

Chapter 24

Noel's POV

I hear that Derek is standing up, but I quickly run down the stairs, and out of the front door, before I let it slam shut behind me.

I really don't want to talk to him right now, because I don't think that I will manage to be nice, my emotions are very unstable at the moment, and I have no idea what I want to say to him.

I can hear that he's running behind me, but we have about the same speed, and I'm a bit ahead form him, so I doubt that he will catch me before I will stop.

I run towards the pack house, and I sigh in relieve when I see all three of my fathers standing in front of the pack house.

Before I can get there, I'm stopped by my eldest brother, who's an Alpha now.

"What's wrong?" Denver asks me, so I look up at him.

"Can you tell Derek to leave me alone for now?" I ask him quickly, and he looks behind me to see Derek, who's almost here already.

"Sure." He tells me, and he leaves me to meet Derek on the way, so I quickly run to my fathers who just noticed me.

"What happened?" Dad asks worriedly.

"Leon's pregnant." I tell him, and tata gasps loudly.

"Tell me you're kidding." Papa says, and I can see from the corner of my eye that Denver is coming here, thankfully without my mate.

"I'm not, I walked into Leon's room, and Leon was without his shirt, so I saw the bump." I explain. "He's pregnant." I repeat.

"Well, I'm not surprised that you were feeling the effects of rejection, if that's the case." Tata says, and papa nods in agreement.

"I told him to go back to the house, and you can go to my house if you want some time away from him and Leon." Denver tells me.

I nod my head, before I can feel the tears sliding down my face, so I wipe them away with the back of my hand, and I take the keys that Denver gives me.

"I want to talk with Derek and Leon about this, then I will go to Denver's house to see you." Tata says, and I nod again, before I turn around to walk away.

But papa stops me, and he gives me a tight hug, then dad and tata do the same, before I'm finally able to walk towards Denver's house.

I know that I won't be able to stay there for a night, because Denver has four kids, and only five rooms, so all of the rooms are taken.

But I will most likely go to Scott later on, but I know that he's not at his house right now, so Denver's will have to do.

At first, I walk as slowly as I can, hoping to clear my head, but I soon realise that there's a possibility that Derek's following me, so I start to walk quicker.
