Derek's POV
When I wake up the next day, Noel isn't in the bed anymore, so I quickly stand up, worried that he's sick again, but I don't find him in the bathroom, so I sight in relieve, and I decide to go down the stairs.
But before I reach the stairs, I change the direction, and I go inside Leon's room to see how he's doing, but he's also not here.
I roll my eyes, and I quickly walk downstairs, hoping that they're not arguing or something.
I have no idea how I will make them be nice to each other, Leon told me that they argue most of the time that they're left alone without someone to stop them.
When I reach the living room, I see that they're both sitting on the couches, but each of them on his own, so I smile slightly at the sight, before they notice me, and they glare at me, most likely for being happy that they're here together, which makes me smile even more.
"You look very identical when you make this expression." I tell them, which makes them go back to the neutral one, as I hoped that it will.
But I decide to not mention the fact that they look even more identical now, I don't think that they would be very happy to hear that.
Instead, I move to sit next to one of them, but I don't want the other one to feel left out, and I can't sit in two places at once.
I consider sitting on the table that is between the couches, but I decide against it, because I don't know how long we will be here, and this table definitely doesn't look comfortable.
So, I go towards Noel, because he's the one closer to me, and I pick him up, before I go towards the couch that Leon is sitting on, and I put him down a bit away from his brother, before I sit in between them, and I smile at the both of them, while they stare at me with an unimpressed expression.
"Brighten up." I demand, trying to sound stern.
I look at Leon's reaction first, and he has the same expression for a few seconds, before looks like he's about to laugh, so I look in the direction that he's looking at, and I see that Noel has a clearly fake smile on his face.
I laugh loudly, and Leon soon joins me, while Noel loses the fake smile, and he shakes his head at us, but I can see that he's amused too.
It's nice to sit with the both of them, because until now we were never left alone in the same room for long.
"See? It's not hard to not argue with each other for a few seconds." Carter says from the doorway.
I look at him, while the twins groan, and I see that he has a smile on his face, probably happy that his sons finally start to get along.
He winks at me, and he goes towards the front door, most likely going to his work.
