Derek's POV

I quickly follow Carter and the Doctor back into the pack hospital, and I try to enter the room that they're carrying my mate into, but Mason stops me.

I didn't even realise that he and Timmy were walking behind me.

They force me to sit on one of the chairs, that are in the corridor, and they sit beside me.

Soon the Doctor kicks Carter out of the room, and all four of us wait here.

"What happened?" I ask them.

"I'm not sure, all I know is that Peter run back to the pack house to get the Doctor.

I saw that Doctor Chris was running out of the pack house, so I run behind him to see what's going on, and we found Noel laying under a tree with his head bleeding." He explains.

"Where's Peter?" I ask them, when I remember that my son was with them.

"He's back at the house, the Beta took him there." He tells me, and I nod in acknowledgement.

Then I hear that someone is walking towards us, and when I turn my head to see who that is, I see Leon, who looks like he's in a lot of pain.

His fathers frown when they see him, but they quickly realise what's going on.

"Are you alright?" I ask Leon, and he nods reluctantly.

"I'm in pain, but I guess that it will have to wait, it's not like the Doctor would be able to help me with that." He responds, before he sits next to me.

I rub his bump, trying to make him feel a bit better, but it doesn't seem to help at all.

A few minutes later, the door opens, so I look up, hoping that the Doctor will finally tell us what's going on.

But instead of telling us anything, he pushes the bed that Noel is laying on, then he goes down the corridor, and into the operation room.

This makes me worry even more, but I manage to sit here for an hour, without having a panic attack.

Then the door opens again, and the Doctor brings Noel back to the room that he was in before.

I sigh in relieve when I see my mate, even though he doesn't look very good, but now I know that he's still alive, and that's what matters.

Not much later, the Doctor comes out of the rooms, and he finally stops to speak with us.

"He fell on his back, and he hit his head hardly, I had to put a lot of the stitches on the wound, so it will leave a scar, but his hair is long enough to cover it.

He lost a lot of blood, so he will most likely will be asleep for a long while, and unfortunately Peter had to fall on his stomach when they hit the ground, so the baby died, and I had to remove it." He explains, and I have to resist the urge to cry.

"He lost the baby?" I ask him, and he nods sadly.

"Yes, but the womb is still in good condition, so he will be able to carry another one in the future." He tells me, and I nod in acknowledgement, not knowing what to tell him.
