Stop calling me a 'Princess..'
Because a princess grows up to become the Queen..
A proud and noble leader, so full of wisdom..
Even the mightiest kings are smart to lend an ear.
I am not a Queen.. I'm not even a Princess!
Though I wished and dreamed of being Royalty..
But I knew it was just a fantastical dream.
I knew it wasn't going to happen..
And yet, I still wished for a Prince or a Knight
Or just anyone, really.. to come and save me.
As I got older, I realized I had to save myself..
From the Dragons and demons and Monsters
And everything else that haunted.. that stills haunts me.
Instead of slaying them.. I save them.. I fix them..
I take pieces of myself and repair them.. all of them..
One after the other.. now there's more..
Where did they come from? I don't know..
But more importantly.. Where did I go??
'What's your favorite color?' I say purple.. I love that color, right?
'Hey, do you prefer cats or dogs?'
I say: Both. My favorite animals are foxes and dragons. Wolves and owls are also cool. Is that the right answer?!?
'What kind of music do you listen to?' Just music
'What's you foods do you like?' I don't know.. all foods?
How am I supposed to be a princess.. on the verge of becoming a Queen and knowing how to lead others,
When I don't remember who I am anymore??
So please, stop calling me something that I will never be!
