Imagine you're hiking in the woods..
On this hike, you come across another being.
Which one is it.. a man or a bear?
I'd choose the bear.. as a lot of people would.
Men can be awful to women..
Men can be awful to animals..
And Men can be awful to other men.
But just as much as women can be awful to men
Women can also be awful to animals
And women can be especially awful to other women.
I don't care what your identity or sexuality is..
Chances are, you'd choose the bear over a man too.
I'd choose the bear because I won't see that bear again.
I won't have to feel guilty just because I'm a female.
A bear would only attack me once, and then leave me
A bear didn't sleep in the next room.
The cops won't question if I'm lying or not..
Simply because the scars would be evidence enough.
A bear attack wouldn't tear my family apart.
A bear wouldn't make fun of me, just to r@pe me..
Like it was some sort of cruel joke "just between us"
The bear wouldn't wait until everyone else was asleep so it didn't get caught.
And honestly.. a man didn't do those things to me..
A monster in the form of my older brother did.
I know that doesn't make it any better,
But in the end, I'd still choose the bear over the man.
