In the realm where shadows dance with light,
I fear not the fleeting breath of night,
But the thought of losing you when I depart,
Stirs a fear that grips my heart.
Longing to hold you in eternal embrace,
Yet how will darkness mar tomorrow's grace?
Should I follow the whispers of my soul's plea,
Or let darkness conquer the light that's free?
In the waltz of light and dark, I tread,
Picturing you in chaos, my heart is led,
Oh, the joy of traveling hand in hand,
To share one home in a distant land.
Yet is it selfish to seek only my delight,
While others dwell in shadows, out of sight?
In the deep of night, your moonbeam bright,
Shines above, while my tears take flight.
I yearn to join you in the morrow's light,
Yet my mind cautions against what's right,
As I close my eyes, in dreams we'll meet,
In eternity's embrace, where love's complete.
