In the vast expanse of the darkened sky,
I'm not the brightest star that catches the eye,
My light insufficient the night to defy,
Yet in your gaze, a beauty does lie.
Among the myriad stars that gleam above,
Why am I the one you choose to love,
As if the brightest, shining from high above,
Guiding your path with gentle dove.
Not the most radiant in the celestial dome,
Yet in your eyes, I find a home,
Treasured and valued, no need to roam,
In your admiration, my essence roams.
Gratitude for the esteem you bestow,
For seeing me as beautiful, aglow,
In your regard, my worth does grow,
Forever cherished, in your heart I sow.
Though not the brightest in the night's grand scheme,
I pledge to be with you, a constant beam,
Together we'll journey, a harmonious team,
In the darkness, our unity will gleam.
