Forgive me, for the promises I can no longer fulfill,
Forgive me if in this world, you alone must stand still.
Forgive me, forgive me, echoes in the void, a silent trill.

Together under one roof, our love anew.
But the specter of death, a foreboding hue,
Now stands before me, a somber view.
In the embrace of sorrow, my spirit cries,
Hoping you find joy as my presence dies.
