In the intricate tapestry of life's design,
I saw my love, a vision so divine,
Seated at a table in a quaint ice cream store,
Her presence was a beauty I couldn't ignore.
The loveliest lady with hair of pure hue,
A smile that sparkled like morning dew,
Captivated, I gazed in sheer delight,
And with words unspoken, our paths took flight.
On the second day of October's grace,
She became my love, my heart's embrace,
The scene I witnessed, a love at first sight,
Echoed in you, a memory so bright.
Reminiscent of love's initial spark,
A connection felt deep within the heart,
Yet hope not in vain, though she may not see,
Like a grand ship sailing, majestic and free.
You, a mere soul standing on the shore,
Dreaming of a love forevermore,
Acceptance dawns, not all we desire we gain,
Some sights are meant to be cherished, not to be claimed.
