In velvet night, where shadows creep,
I search for you, my star so deep.
Your light, a luminous thread, cuts the gloom,
A solace in this silent tomb.
My tears, like rain, fall heavy, slow,
Drowning my heart in depths of woe.
But your soft glow, a gentle hand,
Lifts me from darkness, to a brighter land.
You are the star that lights my darkest night,
A hope that whispers, "Don't you cry."
And though the world may seem so bleak,
Your light within me, makes my spirit speak.
