Leo had hold of my suitcase, as he bustled out of the taxi. I followed him, only holding my bag as I watched him hold my heavy suitcase with ease. I'm sort of glad he insisted on carrying it, my arm nearly ripped off the last time I held it at the airport.

I turned forward, ready to face my mother and all those horrible family members of mine, yet Tristan's house looked different. Much bigger, grander, and more people coming in and out of it. "Why are we at a hotel?" I asked, bewildered as I watched Leo walk in with confidence.

Leo turned around to me. "Not just a hotel. The best in Rochester, celebs come here when they stop by."

I blinked once as my brows slightly pulled down, completely confused. "Leo, what are we doing here?" I asked. In what world would the two of us spending a night together alone make any sense?

Leo chuckled at my bewildered expression. "I'll explain later, just come in." He answered as he waved me into the reception.

I hesitated for a moment before coming in, Leo registered our room before the receptionist gave him the keys. Leo thanked him before we made our way up to our room.

Just as soon as we had reached our room, Leo handed me the keys. "Here's your room keys-" He answered.

The words were taken out of my mouth. I didn't want to be in a room alone, I wanted him to be with me. That's all I ever knew of now. "No," I mustered out to him, my voice an incomprehensible whisper so quiet I was surprised he was able to catch it.

Leo paused in his actions, looking up at me with a glint of something in his eyes. "No?" He repeated.

"Yes- well yes, no," I answered, before picking up, well dragging my suitcase along with me as I made my way towards him. "I want you and me to be in the same room." I clarified.

There was hesitation in his voice as he spoke. "You do?"

"Yes," I answered, my cheeks reddening. "I want you with me."

A smile formed on Leo's face, as he came closer towards me. "Okay, so just to clarify, you, me, in the same room-"

"God, don't make me repeat it," I abruptly cut him off, before grabbing his hand and dragging him to my door. I'm not usually shy when it comes to saying such things, but with Leo, it made me all giddy to say such things.

Leo let out a chuckle, before attempting to grab the suitcase in my hand, but I gripped onto it yet his grip was also as strong as mine and before I knew it my back pushed against Leo's front. His hand travelled to my waist, gripping it before he leaned down to my ear. His breath tingled my neck and ears, sending shivers and waves of different emotions down my spine. "Let me do it, love."

I closed my eyes for a second, my mind instantly turning his words into something much dirtier under other circumstances. I let go of the suitcase, handing it to him before walking back to our room. Fumbling the door open with my keys, trying to not show how affected I was by how close Leo stood next to me. Trying to push out the feel of his body against mine, his lips-

"Want to tell me why we are in a hotel and not at Tristan's?" I asked, trying to act like the normal Iza I was around Leo.

Leo sat down on a nearby chair, his arms resting on the armrest. He let out a small sigh, consideration overcome on his face. "When you got lost, your Mum wasn't too happy about it."

Hope flooded my face, even though I know it shouldn't after all these years. "She was worried about me?"

"No," Leo answered, his voice a bit shattered hearing that after seeing my reaction. "She was mad at you for ruining her 'special' day," Leo answered before I let out a frustrated sigh and settled down on the bed.
