There was nothing like a bright morning without an urgent meeting in the living room with the trio and Bobby. Dean Winchester found another way to receive a soul from the Cage without any consequences upon the deal with Death. Yes, Death. Karina Leone was even more intrigued by how he figured it out after the last time when a soulless figure gave up on them. She was leaning against the frame upon the wall, arms crossed while her wavy hair was on her shoulders with a long black u-neck top with black pants.

In the center of the room, Sam Winchester began to argue with his brother about the news. "You what?"

"Hear me out."

"I heard Cas and Crowley. When they said it would either kill me or turn me into Jell-O, Dean. I heard enough."

"Death can put up a wall."

"A wall?"

Dean looked at everyone in the room while explaining, "Yes, a wall. Basically, you wouldn't remember Hell."

"Really?"

"Really." Wouldn't remember anything? she thought. Her eyebrows furrowed at the possibility of having a life that was filled with secrets when she already had a secret of her own deep inside that she couldn't bear. The last thing she wanted to do is keep a horrible secret from Sam.

"For good? Like a cure?"

Dean hesitated for a moment when he exchanged eyes with Karina, then he looked at Sam. "No, it's not a cure. It-- He said it could last a lifetime."

Sam scoffed when he rolled his eyes, "Great." He walked toward the desk and leaned against Dean's back. "Playing fast and loose with my life here, don't you think, Dean?"

"I'm trying to save your life."

"Exactly, Dean. It's my life. It's my life, it's my soul, and it ain't your head that's gonna explode when this whole scheme of yours goes sideways." Karina couldn't agree more with Sam's point, but she desperately wants her friend back. She can't deal with no sleep or the urge to kill him anymore. On the other hand, he did warn Dean to not contact her when he returned back to save him from the Djinn's virus. The question is why, though? She already knew what was the answer. He wouldn't dare to tell the truth even when he was lying to them all along about his problem.

Bobby sat up from the couch and walked over to Dean, "Just curious. I presume Death's not doing this out of the goodness of his heart. So, what's your half of the deal?" He went quiet for a moment, then he looked down on the floor. Bobby raised his eyebrow at him, "I'm sorry, I didn't get that."

"I have to wear the ring for a day."

"Why the hell he want you to do that?"

"Get his rocks off. I don't know, but I'm doing it." Sam shook his head, then walked forward toward the door. He passed Karina's side, but he was stopped by Dean. "Where are you going?"

His eyes looked up at the ceiling and then he looked back at his brother. His voice softened, "Look, I hear you, all right? I get it. Just need a minute to wrap my head around it, all right?" He turned his back, walking out of the house.

Dean lifted his chin above as his eyes got suspicious. Karina looked over at him, then they all followed Sam to the yard. He was looking down the hole where the rings were. The Death ring revealed between his fingertips as he spoke to him, "Looking for this?"

Sam turned his head around, seeing the group walking toward him. He shook his head and lied to their faces. "Just taking a walk." His determination for continuing the walk stopped by hearing his name.

Dean put the ring down in his hand and in his jacket pocket. He approached him, "Sam. I'm your brother. I'm not gonna let you get hurt. I know what I'm doing here."
