Huntress and the Winchesters drove south in Chicago, where they weren't remain seen from the Leviathans. They all found an abandoned building in the dark night sky with their flashlights. Sam set the briefcase on the table while Dean was carrying needed supplies to break the clay, then Karina rolled the sleeping beds on the floor.
They all gathered around the table while Sam carried a heavy, huck of stone from the case, and set it on the center of the table. Dean brought a toolbox, then looked at the object. "That's a lot of fuss over a caveman Lego."
Sam replied softly while Dean pulled up an iron hammer from the case, "Yeah. Well, whatever Dick wants is bricked up inside that." He passed three safety glasses when Karina approached the table, then they put them on.
Dean aimed the hammer at the stone, "All right." He banged it with the tool, then suddenly there was thunder crashing behind them outside of the building. They all squinted their eyes in suspicion, then he did it again. More thunder crashed in the dark gray clouds, then he had to ask them, "That sound like somebody saying, "No, wait-- stop" to you guys?"
Sam nodded nervously, "Yeah... yeah."
Karina spoke positively with a grin at Dean, "Maybe you're auditioning for Thor."
"Yeah... Oh, well." Hammering the rock, ignoring the weather behind them. Breaking the parts of the marble pieces apart, showing the dark rock with inscriptions on them. It was not Enochian or Latin, coming from the languages of Heaven and Hell. They were unfamiliar with the object that Dean was holding in his hands. They all stood around the stone, disappointed. Karina volunteered to clean up the shattering pieces while they were getting ready to sleep for the night.
The next morning, Karina was on another errand by going to the nearest Dunkin Donuts while hiding her face from the cameras. She borrowed a black hoodie so she would hide her face with cash in her hands. She was ordering a breakfast meal, she needed her coffee after receiving a headache from the weather. She loved storms, but this was killing her deeply. She didn't know why. It was a good thing that she had a migraine pill to wash it down.
After receiving a carrier of two black coffees along with a creamed one, she also carried a bag of breakfast sandwiches for all of them including the glazed chocolate and old-fashioned munchkins. She entered the building, seeing Sam and Dean were awake. A laptop featured the series of news stations from the effect of the mysterious writing stone. They were trying to figure out what was going on in the world since they opened an object between Heaven and Hell that Dick Roman wanted to have.
From the moment she set the breakfast on the table, Dean continued talking with Sam, "All right, so Big Daddy Chomper lands here, he grabs himself some dick and then he starts secretly underwriting university departments, pouring money into digs-- all for this. Why?"
"No clue." Sam firstly noticed her appeared before them. She pulled the hood off her face, letting her hair fall off. She didn't look at him, but continually rubbed her eyes to ease off the pain that she was feeling from her head. "Thanks, Karina. Hey, you're okay?"
"Yeah... maybe woke up differently from sleeping on the wrong side in the bag." Sam and Dean looked at her, worriedly, then she read their expressions. "Boys, I'm fine, seriously. I just... coffee."
Karina picked up her creamed coffee, and took a sip. She moaned lightly before she dived on her meal of sandwiches and munchies. Sam nodded in response, then he continued speaking from his mind. He raised up from a chair as he shut his laptop, making the news quiet for the huntress. "We do know that he will be tearing new ones until he gets it back, though. Look, we got to take a minute, hole up somewhere safe, find out what we've got."
