Straining for her life, her knee was overflowing with blood. Grunting softly while Leviathan was staring death at her and him with a smile and a chuckle. The veins from it were growing side to side from its face as it walked slowly to Bobby who remained unconscious.
"Bobby?" called Dean. Leviathan looked down on its hand as it was standing weakly, then Bobby slowly woke up with a cut on his cheek. Karina was happy to see him okay, then she felt two arms wrapped around her waist from behind. She heard him speaking to the creature they just met, "How many of you ass-clowns are in there? A hundred? More?"
They all saw the black goo dripping from parts of its body as it looked down. Dean pointed it out, "Your vessel's gonna explode, ain't it? Wouldn't do anything too strenuous. In fact, I'd call it a day, head on home. Huh?"
"We'll be back for you." Leviathan stumbled on walking weakly, exiting from the laboratory.
Bobby commented, "Well... this is a new one." Karina groaned lightly as she continued to look at the large glass piece sticking from her knee. He rushed toward her while Dean was holding onto her. "Hold on, sweetie."
"Go get Sam. He needs you guys," said Karina.
"Kay, you're not that dumb. We're not leaving you hurt.. Above all, Sammy will kill me," said Dean. Karina rolled her eyes as she held on for what was coming next. Bobby carefully pulled the piece from her leg as she screamed horribly. Her scream echoed through the hallways, groaned in sweats. Dean handed the rag to Bobby to have him wrapped the wound, then he comforted her. "We'll stitch you back up, you'll be okay."
Bobby offered his hands to have her hands grabbed his, then he slowly pulled her up from the floor. Karina hopped on one leg carefully to its position, then she limped while softly groaning on each step to the end of the hallway. Dean had her arm around his shoulder as he guided her out of the laboratory to find his little brother.
They found him, staring off in the distance against the wall. Dean carefully let her go to approach him as he repeatedly called out his name. When he put his hand on him, Sam jumped to see three familiar faces in front of them. His eyes were wide awake to snap back to reality, "All right, we got to button this up. Kay's hurt-- let's get out of here."
Sam noticed her leaning against the wall while her eyes were tired from losing blood on the way. He rushed toward her, then he wrapped his arm around her waist. He was carrying her while Dean and Bobby searched for the exit. At last when he smelled her scent, he knew he was safe.
Outside, Leviathan walked into the water with its arms opened. Walking until the water drowned at the center, they all arrived as they watched. The water spun in the vortex as it bubbled to let out the black creatures to the rest of the town's water. There were no signs of Castiel.
"Awe hell," exclaimed Bobby.
Dean cursed, "Damn it."
"You say it. Those... whatever-you-call-'ems..."
Sam finished off, "Leviathans."
"Right. If they're in the pipes, they get themselves highway to anywhere."
Dean spoke, "Awesome."
Karina lowered her eyes down to see a familiar trench coat against the shoreline. She shared looks with Sam to let her go so she could limp her way to reach the coat from the water. Sighing heavily as she stared at the clothing, sniffed her tears. She didn't want to cry anymore.
She spoke in a cracked voice, "He's gone..."
"Yup. Rest in peace... if that's in the cards," said Bobby.
