Kevin Tran was a Prophet, and he would read the Leviathan myth upon the stone. The Angels were summoned for him, and the trio with Meg were on their way to the cabin so he would be safe from the beings. While they were making a stop at the gas station, Sam volunteered to grab some food for the road. He knew that Karina was craving for her Ben & Jerry's pint, so he got the flavor of Chocolate Fudge Brownie. She was staying in touch with Kevin who was sleeping by her side in the backseat while he was still holding on the Word of God. In other ways, it was best to keep him distant from Meg, but it was the worst when she wouldn't stop molesting her leg on the ride over. Her thoughts were focused on the words from her Guardian Angel.
Specifically about her love for Sam Winchester and ability to save herself in the process. He was right about one thing; she was taught of being a Huntress in order to defend and save other people between life and death. She never thought that she would be able to redeem herself by confessing what she had been hiding for years to the love of her life. Her lips curled when she began playing with her fingers.
When Sam returned from the gas station and Dean filled the tank, he informed that Kevin Tran was now an FBI missing person across the station. Meg brought a bottle of vodka in the bag while she was invested in a Bio magazine. It was a good thing that she won't be touching Karina anymore since she was starving for her ice cream with a plastic spoon.
At night, they were getting closer to the cabin. The ride was quiet until Kevin gasped lightly when he looked at Meg and Karina sitting by him, "Oh, god."
Karina asked softly, "What?"
"Nothing. Nothing. Just... my life... my future..." Meg's phone started ringing as she answered the phone while Kevin continued talking with the huntress, "... my girlfriend... my mom's car."
"I'm sorry... It sounded like you had a pretty decent life."
"Well, my life was scheduled every other day in a different time slot, so... I wouldn't call it decent." Karina widened her eyes as she awkwardly smiled at him. Meg had Castiel on the phone as he was being surrounded by unhappy dogs in Perth, Australia. She informed him where they were, then the Angel appeared in the trunk. His face was between his Person and the Prophet. Kevin yelled as he jumped in his seat to see him inferring their space.
Meg introduced him, "Kevin, this is Castiel."
Kevin asked, "You're one of the Angels?"
Castiel lifted his finger and booped him on the nose, leaving Kevin weirded-out. The Angel turned to Karina and smiled happily as she grinned softly in response. He checked on the demon, "Meg, are you hurt?"
"Shut up."
Dean asked Castiel while he was driving, "Guys, what happened back there? Who were those guys?"
"They're from the Garrison-- my old Garrison. Looks like Hester's taken over. We were assigned to watch the Earth. Often, it was boring. The wars were very boring and the sex--" Karina widened her eyes as she hid her smirk from her hand, she noticed annoyed eyes coming from Dean upon the rearview mirror. "You know, the repetition. Anyway, I was... I was their captain. Isn't that strange?"
Sam asked, "Cas, why are they pissed at us now?"
"You know, those racing dogs were absolutely miserable. They can only think in ovals."
Dean shouted at him, "Cas, don't make me pull this car over! Why are Angels after us?"
"Are you angry? Why are you angry?"
Karina lifted her eyebrows, giving a pointed look in the mirror. Signaling him to control his temperament since Castiel was a little screwed in the head. "No, I-I'm... please, can we just stay on target?"
