Dynamic Trio and Bobby Singer returned back to Samuel Campbell's place to find a specific source to find the weapon to kill Mother Eve. Ever since the rest of them followed Sam to find the hidden crate in the private library. They all gathered together in Samuel's old office to discover a crate from below the ground under his desk. Sam smiled successfully at the group as Bobby commented, "Well, I'll be damned."
Each of the members climbed down on the ladder to reveal shelves of books from centuries ago and in the center laid a table with papers. "Welcome to the Campbell family library," said Dean. They all separated out to take in the scenery to see the family tree of pictures, books, and documents that were written years old. "Samuel collected all this stuff, huh?"
"Apparently," replied Sam.
"It doesn't excuse him for being a dick though," commented Karina. She smiled lightly at them as she noticed the judgements faces at her, then she furrowed her eyebrows. "What? I ain't kissing his ass from Hell."
Dean rolled his eyes as he asked the group, "What are we looking for?"
Bobby inferred, "Anything that'll put on a run in the Octomom's stockings. Pick a row." Everyone was on the mission to search through the pages of books that they have found. They all found nothing as the hours went by. Until Bobby found a lore that symbolized Eve, "Bingo."
Sam, Karina, Dean, and Bobby were seated on the table together, reading the pages. Huntress was reading from her eyes so concentrated to find anything, but there was a man beside her. Examining her so lovingly. She felt an eye on her, then she shifted her eyes toward Sam. He began pretending that he was reading where he was leaving off which brought her a soft smile.
She couldn't help but to think about the night they slept together. Wondering if there will be that time again. How she wished she had his arms wrapped around her so comforting. She couldn't. She couldn't... not willing to have those strong feelings affected her.
Bobby began to change the thoughts from her head, "Either of you jokers ever heard anything about a Phoenix?"
Sam and Karina shook their heads, then Dean replied. "River, Joaquin, or the giant flaming bird?" They both smiled softly at his joke, then Bobby inferred.
"It says here that the ashes of a Phoenix can burn the Mother."
Sam repeated, "The Mother?"
"Great. Where do we get one?"
"You got me. I thought it was a myth."
"All right, great. Well, let's see if we can find something out about a Phoenix."
Karina sarcastically exclaimed, "Yay."
There was another round of hours of reading and reading through the books. The huntress was reading the old documents privately on her own, then Sam slowly shifted his soul onto hers. His eyes were in awe of her presence, especially as she was sitting right next to him. Her right hand was laying down on the table close to his hand.
His smirk returned to a memory he was yearning to touch that particular hand from years ago. His eyes lowered down, knowing it will not matter anymore. His hand was pulled apart from the close touch, facing the reality that those two will never happen. From that night, it was all a believable dream and he had to live that moment from now on.
His love for her still remained, but his friendship with her grew powerfully.
Dean approached the table excitedly as he was holding a book in his hands. "Guys, guys, guys, check this out. "March 5th, 1861. Sunrise, Wyoming. Gun killed a Phoenix today. Left a pile of smoldering ash.'"
