The Huntress, Karina, stared longingly at a man who she truly loved or so she thought. Dean and Bobby packed everything in the bags to fight against the Angels and demons. Her hands held onto the paper of the address and his handgun as she breathed softly.
"We have to go, sweetie," said Bobby.
"Give me a minute."
Dean nodded silently toward Bobby as he guided him out of the room to give her private with his brother. He shared his eyes toward Karina as she read his mind with a soft smile. Her eyes returned to him before lowering down near the bed. The more she looked at him, the more memories she shared with him began to lighten her soul as well her heart struck like lightning.
"Hey, stranger... I was going to ask, how are you doing, but clearly, you're not doing so well." Karina chuckled sadly, and then she lowered her laugh. Slowly inhaling his surrounding of his familiar scent, containing her tears. She lifted a paper to him as his eyes remained closed. "Look, this is where we are going to be. We're gonna try to end it. Sam Winchester, please, you have to wake up. I lost you once, and I cannot lose you again. Even though it's close to becoming the end, but just so you know it or not... the world won't matter to me without you."
Swallowing her sobs in her throat, her hand caressed his head. Moving his bangs away so she could softly press her lips. A single tear dropped onto his cheek when she closed her eyes. Standing up as she took a last look from him, then she placed the address and his gun near the pillow. Karina Leone left the room with a deep breath, determined to fight for him.
Behind the wall in his mind, Sam Winchester entered a familiar living room alone with a gun. The surroundings revealed many candles along with spider webs stuck between with the white coverings over the furniture while the fireplace was burning. Before he stepped into the kitchen, there was a shadow below the light. A being who was waiting for him, sitting on a table with a blade near the planted hands against the wood.
"Hey." A being didn't respond or move their seat, and then Sam yelled again. "Hey!"
It moved its head up, looking at him. A similar broken voice spoke to him, "Oh. Hi, Sam."
Sam walked cautiously toward the being, "So? Which one are you?"
A being looked at him again with a familiar surprise from his tone, "Don't you know?" It rose from his seat, revealing a spitting image of Sam Winchester covered in burned marks and torturous scars. Sam lowered his gun as he saw his own reflection, but different. His eyes teared up as he revealed himself, "I'm the one that remembers Hell. I wish you hadn't come, Sam."
"I had to. I'm here, right? Out there in the real world, I'm a Bobby's, aren't I?"
Raising his head as he tilted his head as he asked. "How do you know?"
"This whole time, I smelled nothing but old spice and whiskey. And..." Sam stopped for a moment as he took a wuff as his heart played a song. A familiar song about the liberation of running. His version of himself nodded in understanding as he read his mind so clearly until he finished off, "... lavender. I figured if I could get back here, back to my body. I don't know-- I could snap out of it somehow."
"First, you have to go through me."
"Why?"
"Humpty-Dumpty has to put himself back together again before he can wake up. And I'm the last piece."
"Which means... I have to know what you know... what happened in the Cage."
"Trust me... you don't want to know it."
Both of them stared at each other as they both recognized their beings. Sam nodded as he remembered a purpose for the pure lioness. He knew that she would bring him back. A flash of his memory laid across when he heard her say, "I love you... Come back to me."
