Sam Winchester and Karina Leone drove through the course of the night, arriving at the apple tree farm. They haven't said a word to each other after Dean's moment for not opening up to the huntress. His best friend. She was trying to figure out what was going on with him, she understood that he lost Castiel. She thought he was over that since she was trying to get over by losing another family member.
Above all she was living through the life that he would've wanted for her instead of struggling by herself by the loss of family. She sniffed by not showing tears in front of Sam when she pulled up in the front of the farm. They both got out of the car with flashlights in their hands and their chosen weapons to defend the unknown being.
Karina slid the doors so Sam could enter first with a gun in his hand. Their eyes examined everywhere to see the scenery that was dark and empty, but there were appearances of vehicles, boxes, and tools for farming. She walked to the other door leading to the room with stacks of hay. Her eyes lowered down to see a familiar substance on the ground. Red dirt.
Her fingers touched the dirt, then dust it down on the ground. Sam and Karina shared looks for figuring out where the courtroom was supposed to be that Warren mentioned. Suddenly, a phone was ringing, and it was his. He picked up the call and put it on speaker so she could listen.
"Hey, Bobby, what do you got?"
"Those chicken scratches-- definitely Egyptian. "Book of the Dead.'"
"So, good news, then," said Sam sarcastically.
"They identify the god, Osiris. Real authoritarian type. He gets ahold of you, he's judge, jury, and executioner. Lore says that he can see directly into the human heart. He weighs the guilt. If he finds more than a feather's worth-- boom, you're done."
Karina asked, "Why is the god of the courtroom doing here in Dearborn?"
"Well, it seems like he just pops up and does his circuit-judge act and then disappears again. That's all I got so far. You two know what this means."
Sam nodded lightly, "Yeah. We've got to find him before he goes underground again."
"No, you idjit. It means you three got to get the hell out of dodge. This guy hones in on people who feel guilty. Who does that sound like to you?" Sam and Karina shared looks as they answered from their minds. Dean. He quickly hung up his phone and began calling his brother. The call was leaving him outgoing voicemails repeatedly. She palmed her hands against her face, shaking to breathe.
Sam called him again and again for another three messages while Karina was following him. Her throat was dry and it was so hard to swallow, her eyes were twitching with fear. All of the sudden, the call picked up featuring an unknown woman. He hung up the call, then he turned to the huntress. "There's a woman at the Tavern who was supposed to meet Dean. I'm gonna meet her back."
Karina nodded in understanding, "I'll stay here in case I want to beat up King Tut again." He walked to the Impala, driving in speeding motion out of the area. She was standing alone under the dark blue night sky. Her stomach curled up as her eyes slowly closed. Pressing her mouth together while her boot was tapping impatiently with so much terror and worry.
For some reason, she couldn't breathe. Literally couldn't breathe. Her throat was closing together, the artery was showing up on her neck, and her saliva was turning red. Tasting the iron around the mouth. Karina collapsed down on the ground, holding herself up against the palm of her hands. Gagging loudly as she threw up the blood from her mouth coming from her lungs.
Resting her head, gasping for air. Her eyes were lost as they slowly shut.
