~ Lorena's POV ~

As I wake up I make sure to gather some materials I might need and put in my armor as I ready myself to go visit the previous Lord's home.

'Garroth said it is North East from here so that means it is this way.'

I start walking in the direction Garroth said to go. I look around as I enjoy the nature as I walk. It doesn't take long for me to arrive and what I see leaves me in  shock. Half of the house up is completely gone. There is coal scattered around the area. I carefully walk up to the house and slowly up the stairs to see what is inside. I see more coal inside, a table with a book and a...

'Is that a baby crib? What could have happened to the Lord and his family?...'

It saddens me just thinking about what happened to the poor child. I look back to the table with the book and decide to read what's inside.

'It's a journal, must've been the previous Lord's.'

Day 1: Just arrived in a regular village. These villager are special though, I can date them!

Day 2: The villager Milfina likes me a lot! I think I'm going to try to talk to her more...

Day 3: Milfina and one of the guards are acting... "different"... in a good way! This is kind of cool.

* Slam * ... * Thump *

I slowly open my eyes and feel a throbbing pain in the back of my head.

'What happened?'

I think I was knocked out by something or someone because there is no way I would have just fainted and especially with a huge pain in the back of my head. I stand up and steady myself on the table when I notice that the book is gone.

'Did someone knock me out to steal the book? Who did this?'

A chill goes down my spine at the thought of someone spying on me. I feel creeped out, now more because it's super dark out. I make my way back to the village as I see Zenix waiting at the end of the pathway. I walk up to him.

Zenix: "Are you okay? I was worried about you. What did you find?

...actually, you look tired. Go get some rest. We'll talk about it later."

I just nod my head and go and try to look for Garroth to let him now I'm back. I find him talking to another man with a beard and an orange shirt. I walk up to them and the man notices me.

???: "Name is Paul! I'm a farmer who's come a long ways from home just to self my crops! Sorry prices are high, but I got to get home AND feed my family."

"Geez!"

Paul: "Garroth here is a nice fellow! He's already bought enough to pay for my trip home and feed my family... but don't let that stop you from buying more!"

"Let me see the goods!"

I look at the goods he's selling. Orange saplings, rice seeds and strawberry seeds for a diamond block each.

'He was right when he said prices are high!'

I turn to Garroth.

Garroth: "Paul came here from a far away village that seems to be more advanced than ours. He's a farmer looking to sell his goods."

"Yeah, but they're pricey!"

Garroth: "...I know, but I have some currency.

Could you hold out your hand?"

I hold out my hand as he gives me some seeds.

Garroth: "Lorena, take these.

I didn't have much use for the currency I had and even if I did want to use it on myself, it would be used so I could improve this village.

I can't do much, but you can. Put these seeds to good use for me."

"I will!"

I make my way to my home to get some gardening tools and head out to the little wheat farm. I harvest the all ready wheat and start planting the seeds Garroth gave me. Once I was finished I gathered my things to go back home when I stumble across a dog sitting next to my house.

"My, aren't you cute!"

I see a stick next to me so I use it to tame the dog. He happily chews on the stick as I think of a name for it.

"I'm gonna name you Thorgi!"

He happily barks indicating he likes the name I gave him.

"You will be my fisher dog and I think I have to dye in my chest and wool. I'm gonna go make you a blue collar."

I make my way inside my home and begin to make Thorgi's collar. Once I finish I go back outside and place the collar around Thorgi's neck.

"You look adorable!"

I tell Thorgi to follow me as I make my way to the goat pen where I have my two goats Billy and Yawn. I grabbed some buckets before I left my house to milk the goats. I'm able to fill 2 whole buckets of milk and I take them back home along with Thorgi.
