Lorena's POV:

I wake up and stretch my limbs as they ache from sleeping on the stone floor. I look at Lucinda who smiles at me.

Lucinda: "Well, good morning sleeping beauty!"

"Thanks, I... MORNING!?"

Lucinda: "Yup, morning. You slept in past the night and now we can't get out. The Wolves also came in and took those three Guards and slaughtered them. They even use their bones for toothpicks."

The color of my face drains.

"WHY THE HECK DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP!?"

Lucinda: "Heeeehahahahaha! Oh priceless, the look on your face when I said they were dead. Heh heh! Don't worry Sweetbuns, your boyfriends are safe over there. One of them is asleep too, I think."

"You're a jerk!"

Lucinda: "Heheh! I'm a Witch. Playing pranks is kind of in my blood. Oh, and don't worry you didn't sleep in - this is also MY freedom on the line here. I wouldn't let you sleep in for this. Now, wake up and eat some of that Spider Eye Soup."

"Ew! No! It smells gross."

Lucinda: "Well, tough luck. I hate to tell this to you sister, but that soup kind of has the ONLY ingredients I was able to scrounge up, annnnnd... those ingredients happen to be necessary for our escape plan. So eat up!"

"Really?"

Lucinda: "Yes, really. It's a part of the ritual I'm going to perform on you."

"Me!? Why me!?"

Lucinda: "Why you? Well, first off they know my magic well enough to trace it. So, if I get close to the Barrier Magicks User he'll know I've escaped. Second, you're the only one in the cell that is close enough to me to be in range to perform this ritual, oh also you're not beaten up."

She then points at Logan.

"Fine. I get your point."

Lucinda: "Good. Now eat up that Spider Eye Soup. While you're at it you might want to check up on your Ghost son and friend over there. There's a chance that you might get caught and not come back. So, if you are okay with that, then come talk to me when you're done with your soup."

I nod my head and I decide to go check on Logan first. I walk up to him to see him coughing.

Logan: "* Cough, cough * Lorena...?"

"Logan, how are you doing?"

Logan: "I'm... all right. I've definitely been better. Lucinda's potions are only able to help so much seeing as she's using scraps she finds around here. Maybe I'd be feeling better if she was at her full power..."

"Soon Logan, we have a plan to get out of here."

Logan: "You do? What is it?"

"Don't worry you'll see."

Logan: "Of course... just... get us out of here as soon as possible. I miss my Donna, I never should have been so self-centered to think I didn't deserve her..."

"Stop, you over thinking is what got us here in the first place, remember?"

Logan: "... Heh, that might be the smartest thing you've said. All right, I will put my trust in you, Lord Lorena."

I nod my head and I go to grab a bowl of Spider Eye Soup. I look at the bowl and see how gross it looks so I close my eyes and chug the soup down. It actually doesn't taste that bad so I eat one more just in case. I put the bowls down and then I walk over to Malachi. He smiles up at me.
