Lorena's POV:

I wake up and stretch my body. I change into my clothes and head out of my room and into Levin's. I look inside and see he's not there.

'He's probably with Zoey.'

It's been 2 days since the incident. I walk downstairs and down to the basement. As I reach the bottom I see Dale and the Doctor are sitting at the table with some fruit. Dale is looking out of the window and looks like he doesn't want to talk. I turn towards the Doctor and he smiles.

Doctor: "I hope you don't mind Lady Lorena. I made myself at home here until the mystery darkness dissolves. I brought fruit for Dale as well."

I smile at him and tell him that he should feel at home here and not to worry. I walk into Zoey's room to see Alexis still sleeping and Molly sitting by her side. I walk up to Zoey.

Zoey: "Hmm..."

"Any luck Zoey?"

Zoey: "I'm afraid not... I gave Kawaii~Chan and the Doctor the day off... it's been two days since the incident and we're showing no signs of progression on curing Alexis."

"... So are we... giving up?"

Zoey: "No, we are not. However, we cannot exhaust everyone on trying to keep pushing for an answer when we've tried everything."

"I agree... everyone needs rest to clear their mind."

Zoey: "She's a very beautiful adult. She looks so peaceful sleeping there... I'll be keeping her here and taking care of her alongside Molly. I might even make her a small shrine area where we can observe her and everyone in the village can contribute to her cause.

Which reminds me... Lorena... Laurence said it is possibly in the best interest of Alexis if we allow her to sleep until we can remove the curse of the necklace from her. She could injure herself from pure shock if she woke in a state such as the one she was in."

"That sounds like a logical plan."

Zoey: "I'm very glad you are taking this in such a logical and responsible manner. I can't say the same about Molly and Dale but I do not blame them for their rash actions either, they are her parents after all. Anyway, I'll get to work on that shrine when I can. For now, she stays with me. Keep calm Lady Lorena, she'll be okay - I bet my immortality on it."

I nod and thank her for helping Alexis. I walk towards Molly as she's holding Alexis's hand and smiling. She looks up at me still smiling.

Molly: "Oh Lorena! Thank you for allowing us to keep Alexis here... we have quarantined our house, the village Plaza, and the house Zane was in. No one should set foot on the black and purple stuff... it makes people act... different."

"You're all welcomed to say in my house until we get rid of that stuff."

Molly: "T-Thank you so much. I'm glad because... I haven't really slept, but we NEED to keep our faith. If we act miserable around Alexis she'll pick up on those vibes. We need to show her we are here for her and we are happy. Keep smiling Lorena! Maybe if we keep high spirits we can discover a way to get rid of that black and purple stuff and maybe even wake Alexis."

I nod and give her a smile. I look towards Alexis and keep smiling. I walk out of the room and go to check on Laurence. I walk in to find him on a chair in front of the window. He has a table next to him with cookies and milk.

'Kawaii~Chan must've made them for him.'

I walk towards him and he can sense my presence because he speaks.
