Lorena's POV:

I'm at the docks as I decided to let Thorgi have some fresh air. I'm looking towards Katelyn's Ship wondering when I will be able to give these diamonds to her. Before I left to Kawaii~Chan's house with Dante I grabbed the diamonds Garroth told me about to see it is 4 full stacks of diamonds. I'm surprised that those armor are worth this much but I can't really question Garroth. I decide it's time to go back home to check on Levin and Malachi. As I'm reaching my front doors I hear rapid footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Brian and Grey Wind running towards me.

"Brian? Is everything okay?"

Brian: "Lady Lorena! Lady Cadenza requests your presence immediately - it's an emergency."

"Is she still sick?"

Brian: "She's in good health and has informed me she is completely recovered from her fever, however this is not a matter of physical health, but rather a personal matter. I ask that you quickly head to her house."

"Will do."

Brian: "Good. I'll stand guard here at your house today."

I nod my head as I thank him. I run towards Cadenza's house while Thorgi follows me. I finally reach her house and barge in not bothering to knock. I run downstairs to see her sitting down on her bed with a letter in her hand. She looks up at me with a sad face.

Cadenza: "............. Lorena.................... I've received word from Kenmur........."

"... Cadenza...?"

Cadenza: "...................... My father was recently assassinated."

"WHAT!?"

She then falls into my arms crying as I hug her back.

Cadenza: "I AM SUCH A HORRIBLE DAUGHTER! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE! WHY!? WHY MY DADDY!?"

"Cadenza, I'm here for you..."

Cadenza: "Lady Lorena... I am so distraught, I can barely move... please, please tell me this is a dream..."

I stay silent not knowing what to say. She then continues to cry more.

"Cadenza... let's go to Meteli..."

Cadenza: "Go to... I don't know, his house... his things... they'll all remind me of my Daddy..."

"How do you know Kenmur is telling the truth?"

Cadenza: "... Kenmur wouldn't lie to me... I mean, maybe... maybe he's alive... maybe they've got the wrong person... I have to know... I have to know... please, take me to Meteli?"

"Of course."

Cadenza: "Thank you, thank you so much Lady Lorena. Please give me a moment to pack up my things, I'll be ready to head out in about an hour."

I nod my head as she starts gathering her things and I leave her be. I walk upstairs and out of the house as I make my way towards the Guard Tower.

'I need to tell Laurence...'

As I'm getting closer I see Laurence walk out of the Guard Tower. He looks at me with a concerned face as he runs up to me.

Laurence: "Lorena! Brian tells me Cadenza summoned you - is everything okay!?"

I look in his eyes as I take a deep breath. I tell him everything that Cadenza told me and his face starts changing into sadness.

Laurence: "........... What?.................... Hayden is dead...........?
