No one's POV:

Inside the Shadow Lord's Fortress. Laurence is unconscious on a table. A dark shadow looks over him...

Lorena's POV:

I decide to go check on little Levin to see if he's woke up. After everything that happened yesterday with the new Oath of the Guard I just want to spend time with my son. I walk in little Levin's room to see Garroth there with him.

Garroth: "I can't believe how big little Levin has gotten... I feel like everything has happened so fast."

"I do too, a lot of time has passed since I moved here."

Garroth: "Indeed. You still look as beautiful as you did when you arrived. Err... sorry that was uncalled for. What I mean was... I'm very concerned Lorena. Laurence was a good man and a worthy guard, it's a shame the order lost him. Ulrich and Luna of Meteli told me so many notable deeds Laurence has done for his people..."

"Garroth... I want to go back for him."

Garroth: "Unfortunately I cannot allow that. I'd go before I'd let you go there. I'm sure Laurence can take care of himself if he hasn't already... let's change the subject. Lorena, I think it's time you took Levin around the village. He's been cooped up in this room since he arrived, now that he can crawl I think you should let him stretch his legs. What do you think?"

"That sounds like a great idea!"

Garroth: "Good. I would do it myself but... well, he wasn't left at my doorstep so I think you should have the honor. Go take him around, show him the place... maybe build or fix something. I have no idea what to do with kids so... I mean, I would just give him a sword and... yeah, I'm not great with kids when it comes to that kind of bonding thing. Plus, I need to send out a message with Raven to a... very important person. Take care of Levin, Lorena."

I nod my head and thank him as I pick up Levin in my arms. I decide to put some baby pants, gloves and socks on his hands and feet so when he crawls he won't scratch himself on the cement. Zoey ordered these clothes a while ago and I'm just using them today. Today I'm not wearing my armor because I don't want to scratch Levin with it. I hold him as we head out to the village. I see Dale in his usual spot patrolling the village.

Dale: "My son has grown so big! Oh? Who is this little guy...? Levin? Oh! Last time I saw him was last week? Brian! Remember when you were this small? Aww! I miss those days..."

I see Brian walking around patrolling as well and he walks up to us.

Brian: "Hey Lorena... or should I say Lady Lorena? ... Or Lord Lorena? Which do you prefer?"

"You can call me whatever you prefer."

Brian: "I can? Oh, um... I'll call you Lady Lorena. I've known you for a long time so for me it just feels appropriate. I hope I can get the hang of guarding around here."

I nod and tell him that he's doing great. I walk towards the Plaza and decide to let little Levin down to crawl. I walk over to where Donna is standing and Logan is laying on the bed they made for injured villagers. Little Levin follows me.

Donna: "LEVVVVVIN! AHHH! Too cute! Um, oh sorry did I scare him? Oh I'm sorry! Ugh, Lorena... Logan has been having bad headaches lately. I wonder what could be wrong with him."

I give her a concerned look and walk over to Logan.

"Logan...?"

Logan: "Whaaat? Why are you talking to me I have a head— OH A BABY! HOW CUTE!"

"... You have a heart?"

Logan: "Of course I do. Just because I'm a greedy merchant doesn't mean I don't have a soft spot. Ugh... talking to you brought my headache back. Uggghhh..."

I giggle at him and pat him on the shoulder. I walk over to Zoey to see her making more fairy lights. She looks at me and Levin and smiles.

Zoey: "Lorena! Oooh! LEVIN! LOOK HOW BIG HE'S GOTTEN! He seems to be having so much fun too! Ah! I'm setting up shop here, trying to improve things you know. I swear I love making fairy lights! You and Levin take care!"

I nod and thank her as I pick up Levin. I decide to take him to his old home and repair it. I go home real quick and set Levin down as I grab some material and I pick him up and we make our way towards the old Lord's home.

No one's POV:

As Lorena and Levin are walking towards the old Lord's home a man with the Shadow Knight armor is watching over them from a tree...

Lorena's POV:

As we arrive to the old Lord's home I walk into the house and set Levin down. I brought his toy block and stuffed wolf so I let him play with that while I get to work. I start off by building up the walls again as a start.

A few minutes later

As I'm close to finishing I notice how late it is.

'I need to hurry up.'

I get down from the walls to start building the next one when out of no where Levin stands up and walks towards the door and outside.

"Levin...? Levin! What wrong!? How did you—"

I'm cut off by the sight before me. Levin is standing in front of a man with the Shadow Knight armor. When the man turns his face my eyes widen.

"L-Laurence...?"

Tears start forming in my eyes and they fall freely on to my cheeks.

"Laurence! You're okay! I was so worried about you I thought—... wait... why are you wearing their armor? Laurence...?"

He looks at me with a dead stare and runs off.

"Laurence? Laurence! Wait!..."
