Lorena's POV:

As I finally arrive to Meteli I see Laurence still on patrol and he looks at me as I give him a smile because I got the potion I needed.

Laurence: "Please tell me that look in your eyes means that you've finally realized your feelings for me."

I puff my cheeks at him as my face reddens and he chuckles.

"No. No. NO!"

Laurence: "Ah, well... someday you'll realize your feelings for me. Anyway, did you manage to find any leads on where Cadenza is?"

I decide to tell him about the Chicken Shaman and the incident.

Laurence: "... I see. Castor is an old friend of mine."

'Castor? That must be the Chicken Shaman's real name."

Laurence: "This isn't something I'll send a man-hunt out for. He's crazy but he's a good guy, he wouldn't hurt Cadenza. The whole thing about her being a Princess though that's just him being crazy. Never the less... I ask of you to respect Castor's wishes and not tell Hayden OR Kenmur about this incident.

They won't listen to reason and will launch an attack on Castor and his... uh, "people". It will be senseless slaughter and Castor has power that has proven very useful in bad situations.

I'm glad you trusted me with this information, it shows our love is truly strong."

'How does he manage to say all of this with a straight face!?'

"No. It shows that I trust you to protect your people."

Laurence: "Indeed. I care for everyone in this village as I would anyone who sets foot in it. Even though I tend to be a little... "forward" sometimes. I truly care about what I do and those I protect. Even if they've gone off and made a small chicken village of their own."

"That's very kind of you."

Laurence: "I'll make sure to keep up with Castor and the status of Cadenza. We'll come up with some kind of story to keep everyone safe from the wrath of a father and lover. You can tell Hayden and Kenmur that you didn't find any leads. Of course, I leave what you tell them up to you. Just know that your choice will affect the lives of others, good or bad.

I nod my head and start walking to Hayden's house. I walk in and see him stand up at the sound of my foot steps.

Hayden: "Well? Did you find anything on my daughter!?"

I decide to tell him I found nothing to protect Castor.

Hayden: "WHAT!? WHY WOULD YOU EVEN COME BACK WITHOUT ANYTHING!? GET OUT OF MY SIGHT."

I wince at his harsh words and walk over to his guard as he gives me a dirty look.

Hayden's Guard: "Get out of here. I knew you would fail us, someone who takes a sword from a man is not someone who will produce results. Trust me, I saw what you did. Go away."

I nod my head and place the sword back into its original spot. I didn't use it so it's still the same. I walk out of Hayden's house and head over to Kenmur. He has his head in his hands as he's sitting down and he jolts up when he hears me close the door.

Kenmur: "Lorena... please tell me you found something."

I want to protect Castor so I decide not to tell him either.

"I'm sorry..."

Kenmur: "... It's... it's okay. I won't stop, I won't sleep until she is safe in her father's arms."

My heart melts at how sweet he is compared to Hayden.

'He truly does love her...'

I walk over to his guard to see if he'll react the same way as Hayden's guard.

Kenmur's Guard: "I understand you are tired from trying to search for Cadenza, I sincerely appreciate your effort. You know, I've been with Kenmur's family since he was a baby. I wouldn't leave his side. He's like my son... even now that he's become his own man - trying to take charge when the pervious Lord passed. Even after he lost his love, Sasha."

"Sasha!?"

Kenmur's Guard: "... You knew Sasha?"

"No, I just know someone named Sasha. Can you tell me more about what happens to Kenmur?"

Kenmur's Guard: "Kenmur comes from a long line of Nobles. Not Lords mind you but a very prosperous family. The technological advancements they made with redstone helped project their village into a Kingdom. Alas the village was set ablaze and his family and the families of many others were lost. He has something in common in that regard with Cadenza. Anyway, after he lost his family I brought him here. Ever since then he's been trying to change the world."

"Wow, what else?"

Kenmur's Guard: "After some time trying to help the old Lord improve this village he fell in love with his, at the time, guard Sasha.

A beautiful woman with a noble heart, white hair, and eyes as purple as obsidian. Sasha returned his feelings, after a while Sasha was sent on a mission to save our Lord from the Nether along with a few other people in the village. When everyone came back... Sasha was the only one who did not return. It changed Kenmur that day. It changed all of us that day.

Sasha was a good woman."

"Huh... she sounds like it."

Kenmur's Guard: "Yes. Anyway, I've said more than I needed to. Thank you again.

Take care Lorena. Safe travels."

I nod my head and thank him. I make my way over to the docks and into my ship. I maneuver my ship South and after a few minutes I see the Crazy Cat Lady and Mittens come into view. I stop my ship next to the island and jump out. As I'm walking towards her I see a crate but choose to ignore it. I walk up to her and she sees me.

Crazy Cat Lady: "YOU'RE BACK, DID YOU FIND A CURE FOR MITTENS!?"

"Yes, let me give it to him."

I take out the potion and tell Mittens to open his mouth a bit as I gently poor in half of the bottle in his mouth. I see a white light come out and I close my eyes to shield me from the brightness. Once the light is gone I look at Mittens and find him back to his original state.

Crazy Cat Lady: "Amazing! Mittens is now back to his even cuter self. Now get off my island and take your dog with you. Also take every other dog in that chest over there. I don't know how a crate of animals washed up on the shore here but they came to the wrong island."

'Dogs...?'

I walk over tot he crate and open it to find 4 dogs sitting down and wagging their tail as they see me. I let them all out and I tell them to sit and they all obey.

"I'm gonna have to figure names out for all of you... oh boy..."
