At the Gate of Scaleswind is Zane with 2 O'Khasis Guards trying to scheme something with the Lord of Scaleswind.

Lord of Scaleswind: "You are either a complete moron or a brave fool to even set foot on the land that surrounds Scaleswind! This is not even worth my time. Captain! Attack Zane on your command!"

Zane: "What a shame... and here I thought the Lord of Scaleswind would be happy to see me. The man who knows where his precious daughter is."

Lord of Scaleswind: "HA! You jest! She was murdered if you don't remember! By one of your men!"

Zane: "I have information that proves her death was a lie... an illusion. To fool both Scaleswind and O'Khasis into War."

Lord of Scaleswind: "Why should I even believe you!"

Zane: "She's alive. And I'm willing to go as far as to surrender to you to prove this. If you still think I'm lying - even after I put my honor on the line - then so be it. I'll be leaving..."

Zane turns around as he slowly walks away.

Lord of Scaleswind: "WAIT!"

Zane: "Heh heh heh..."

Lorena's POV:

The Mysterious Man removes his sword from my neck as I carefully stand up. I put my shaky hand on my neck making sure there's no bleeding.

"What was that for!?"

???: "I'm willing to let you live, under the condition that you give me your solemn vow not to tell anyone, not even your sons... that I am here."

"I-If I tell?"

???: "Then you'd be putting not only your village in danger, but the entire Realm as well. You have no idea what lengths people will go to obtain that Amulet."

"What are you talking about?"

???: "Are you going to speak of my whereabouts to anyone or can you vow to never speak of me?"

"You aren't answering my question..."

???: "I don't need to. I'm here to investigate, if nothing goes wrong no one will even know that I am here. It needs to be this way."

"I won't say a word."

???: "Good."

With that he turns around. He peers his head over his shoulder to look at me and then he runs a away. I let out a shaky breath as I try to regain my composure. I walk towards the tree and collect 6 Sacred Wood Logs. I feel bad to do this to Levin and Malachi's tree house but when I look at the tree I notice that the part where I just cut out some wood is already growing back. I turn around and start following the path to the Plaza. I start tearing up at the fact that I probably could've never seen Levin and Malachi again.

'Why would he want to kill me...? ... after saving me...'

I keep following the path when I see Laurence waving at me with a smile. He then takes a closer look at my face as his face becomes worried and he runs over to me.

Laurence: "... Lord Lorena, are you okay?... Are you crying? You look pale, did something happen!?"

I think back to what the Mysterious Man said and I shake my head as I weakly smile.
