Sasha's POV:

I make my way over to Gene to see him staring at the way the Wyvern took Laurence and escaped from. The portal closed up and is now obsidian.

Gene: "CURSE THAT WYVERN! HE TOOK LAURENCE!"

"Why does it matter? Laurence clinger to his humanity he was a nuisance anyway."

Gene: "... It's not about Laurence being a nuisance, IT'S ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE WAS TAKEN! I'D RATHER HIM DEAD THAN TAKEN, SASHA!

WE DO NOT HAVE A WAY OUT OF THE NETHER SINCE THAT IDIOT VYLAD SAVED THAT GIRL AND SHAMAN BY BREAKING THE NETHER PORTAL! NOW WE ARE STUCK IN THIS REALM JUST LIKE THE WYVERNS! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT LAURENCE BEING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DIMENSION MEANS!?"

Gene: "IT MEANS HE KNOWS THAT WE'RE PLANNING HERE AND HE CAN WARN THEM! THIS IS NOT A DAMN JOKE SASHA!"

"Gene... calm down, we'll revive the Shadow Lord without fail..."

Gene: "Calm is what I'll be once Laurence and Zenix are well and dead. Zenix is less likely to talk since he went crazy with power and abandoned us, but still... to gain the blessing of the Shadow Lord and just leave like he did... next time I see him he'll be gone. Let us hope that they don't remember what transpired in the Nether. The effect of transcending barriers has awful effects... that Wyvern must be dead by now..."

"Gene, about Vylad... Laurence told me he thought Vylad had another way out of the Nether..."

Gene: "..... Then maybe we should pay a visit to Vylad in his eternal prison."

Lorena's POV:

I see Zoey coming up the stairs indicating she's done examining Laurence.

"Zoey? How's Laurence!?"

Zoey: "Physically, Laurence is badly wounded... but he should be able to make a full recovery... but..."

"But...?"

Zoey: "I... I think he's blind."

"WHAT!?"

Zoey: "... You have to understand, transcending realm barriers without some kind of ritual is something that is unheard of, I'm sure it's happened before but there are no documents of anyone surviving it. There are bound to be repercussions and I fear this is one of them..."

"Can't you use your magicks to heal him, Zoey?"

Zoey: "Lorena, I only know protective spells such as barrier magicks. I don't think you've delved into the art, but basic knowledge tells us that living entities can only master one kind of specialty in magicks. Even if I tried to use that to heal him I could do more damage than good... I'm sorry."

"It's okay Zoey, do you think Kawaii~Chan can?"

"I highly doubt it but... it wouldn't hurt to ask her."

"I'm on it."

Zoey: "... By the way Lorena, Laurence is asking for you."

"What?"

Zoey: "He's in a very emotional state right now. When he woke, he grabbed my hand thinking it was you but he knew right away I was not the person he was hoping for. I think you should go talk to him."

"I... I will."

Zoey: "I don't sense a dark presence in him. It should be safe, but I would be on guard. I don't know enough about Shadow Knights to know what he is capable of, you might want to take Garroth with you."
