Lorena's POV:

I wake up from my nap feeling a lot better. I'm thankful for Laurence letting me get my rest but I'm still angry about how he put me to bed. My cheeks slightly blush as I remember what happened. I shake my head and decide to go check on Levin and Malachi. I walk to their room and when I enter I see Levin with Zoey reading a book.

Levin: "T-T-The-n... th... e... Wolf... sayed... t-th-that... huff... pluff..."

He is so adorable and watching him learn how to read makes me so happy. Zoey looks at me and smiles.

Zoey: "Ah! Lorena! I wanted to give you an update on Malachi since Lucinda has been out. Malachi ended up eating too much last night and got a tummy ache. Since he's still getting used to his body I'm just having him drink water until he recovers from the tummy ache. I'm afraid to give him any kind of potion to cure it. Just gotta let it run its course.

He's resting now and in the meantime I'm teaching Levin here how to read, he's getting pretty good at it if I do say so myself!"

"I agree!"

I smile and walk over to Malachi to see him laying on his stomach with his feet on his pillow.

"Malachi...?"

Malachi: "Uggh, I forgot how good food tasted that so much of it can be bad... ugggh... I just want to lay down, I don't care if my feet are on the pillow!"

I giggle at him.

"Take all the rest you need Malachi."

I decide to leave them be and walk downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and see Laurence there leaning his back on the counter. He looks at me with a smirk. I blush slightly.

Laurence: "Lord Lorena, good afternoon... you look much better now that you're well rested."

"W-Why didn't you wake me up sooner?"

Laurence: "You needed your rest. Don't worry, I would not have allowed you to sleep in or sleep past any important event that may have required your attention. Every second is important and we need to use them wisely. You sleeping, was the best call I could make. Plus... I'm glad you woke up on your own. I have a feeling if I tried to wake you up from your bedside I would have been swiftly slapped, haha!"

"Well, it wouldn't be the first time someone has done that..."

I then slap my hand over my mouth as I realize what I said and Laurence looks at me confused.

Laurence: "...? What are you talking about?"

I decide that he should know and I don't want to lie to him.

"... I-I had an i-incident last night with Myserious M-Man..."

Laurence looks at me shocked and then angry as he puts one hand on his hip and he runs his other through his hair frustratingly.

Laurence: "W-WHAT!? DID HE DO SOMETHING TO YOU!?"

"No! He didn't! But I need to tell you what we discovered..."

I then tell him about Lillian and Katelyn. Laurence then let's out a scoff.

Laurence: "... You're kidding me... YOU'RE SERIOUSLY KIDDING ME!? DANG IT!"

"Laurence... she got away."

Laurence: "... I should have been there to help you two. Maybe if I was, she wouldn't have gotten away... no. There's no time for that now. We don't have time for regrets. I'll put everyone on high alert in case she returns. In the meantime, we need to have a few words with Lady Katel—"
