No one's POV:

In the city of O'Khasis, Jeffory is handcuffed and sitting down with 2 O'Khasis Guards behind him.

Jeffory: "I already told you! I let them go out of my labs in judgment. You said to stay out of her way and that's what I did! I was simply following orders."

The High Priest Zane sitting in front of him chuckles lowly.

Zane: "Heh heh, you still act as if you think I don't already know. These frail mortal bodies can only serve as a vessel for one. If you don't serve me... then you serve another."

Jeffory: "Sire...?"

Zane: "Haha... I jest, it's all right!"

He snaps his finger and then an O'Khasis Guard comes behind Jeffory and unlocks the handcuffs turning him loose.

Jeffory: "You're... You're letting me go?"

Zane stands up from his chair as he slowly walks behind Jeffory.

Zane: "Of course!"

* SHANK *

Jeffory: "UGH!"

Jeffory looks down to his body to see Zane's Black Sword piercing out of his abdomen.

Zane: "You are useless to me now."

Zane walks towards the window as he leaves his sword in Jeffory's body while he falls to the floor. Jeffory looks up at Zane as he tries his best to stay alive.

Jeffory: "... No... not like t-this... ugh... Abby............."

The last thing Jeffory hears is Abby's gentle laughter as he closes his eyes letting his soul fly away freely from his body. Zane smirks but then takes out a Communication Pendant from his pocket that's vibrating and glowing purple. He taps on the Pendant as a voice whispers to him through the Pendant.

Zane: "She's there with her. Katelyn mentioned nothing of this! Hm...."

The voice continues to whisper to him.

Zane: "No. Leave it be. This is much better."

More whispers come from the Pendant.

Zane: "He would be perfect to fulfill the new role that just opened up. Heh heh heh..."

Lorena's POV:

"Garroth! Hey Garroth where'd you go!?"

I've been outside looking for Garroth for a while now and he is nowhere to be seen. I let out a frustrated sigh and hear footsteps behind me. I quickly turn around but only see Nicole walking out of the Barn.

Nicole: "Lorena, you've been gone from the party for a while now... is everything okay?"

"Yeah, just... worried about Garroth."

Nicole: "Huh? Lorena don't worry about it. Just come back inside and enjoy yourself. Kiki is asking for you - she's about to open her gift from you!"

"Really? Okay let's go. I know Garroth can take care of himself. Plus there's probably something in the village he needed to take care of!"

We walk inside as we head towards Kiki starting to open all of her presents.

An hour later

I'm exiting the Barn now that the party is over.
