Lorena's POV:

I was outside letting my dogs catch some fresh air when I look through the window inside of the Maid Café and see Kawaii~Chan pacing back and forth. I tell my dogs to stay and I go inside to check up on her. Kawaii~Chan sees me and she tries to give me a smile.

Kawaii~Chan: "Good morning Lorena! Kawaii~Chan... is very worried..."

"Why? What happened?"

Kawaii~Chan: "... My maid nor my flying horse have returned, they were supposed to have been back before sunrise...

Do you think their magic was seen? Could someone have taken them...?

I'm so sorry, I know I promised you fast transport to Scaleswind."

"It's okay... I can make it there on my own."

Kawaii~Chan: "No! Kawaii~Chan has a back up! I have a horse named Kimi~Chan! She's outside and ready to go! Just make sure you send her back, she's as smart as an elephant so she'll know her way here.

Good luck Lorena and... if you see a maid and a flying horse together please... please, please, please tell them I want them back home.

I'm so worried."

I nod my head and thank her for letting me use Kimi~Chan. I go outside and I tell my dogs to follow me to meet Kimi~Chan. She's a beautiful brown horse and she is already saddled up. I put my dogs in their Lasso's and let Kimi~Chan sniff my hand before I get on her. I wave at Kawaii~Chan through the window and she waves back. Then I steer Kimi~Chan South. We ride for a few minutes when we come across the camp where everything went downhill. There's blood everywhere and in the middle is a withered flower.

"Come on Kimi~Chan, we should go... let's not linger here any longer..."

We continue our ride South for a few hours. I spent all that time reflecting on everything that has happened.

'Why does Zenix want to be a Shadow Knight? And he said that Garroth will have to make the same decision too one day... no... Garroth would never do that, and I won't let him either. He also said something about Garroth finding him on the same day the old Lord was murdered... oh no... did he...'

I don't finish my thought as I see a big red town come into view and I stop Kimi~Chan at the stairs that lead down to it. I hop off of Kimi~Chan and tell her to go back home. I see her neigh and rub my head with hers before she starts galloping away. I start walking down the stairs.

'Am I in the right place?'

When I reach the from gate I see a sign.

Town of Scaleswind

'Yes! I'm finally here! Now I can find Levin's mom and... and then... I'm gonna have to give him back...'

My face saddens at the thought of having to give back Levin. I shake my head.

'No Lorena, this is the right thing to do.'

I walk into the town and I'm greeted by a guard.

Scaleswind Guard: "Good day, what can I do for you madam?"

"I'm looking for a woman missing her baby."

Scaleswind Guard: "You must mean Matilda. I'm sorry but I haven't seen her in a week. It's possible she... is no longer with us."

"She's dead!?"

Scaleswind Guard: "No, it's possible she's moved on and tried to look in a local town for her baby. She's very determined to find her missing baby boy."
