Lorena's POV:

I'm sitting down by a tree looking towards the stars in the night sky. We set up camp because everyone was feeling tired from riding for so long so we decided to settle down to rest. I can't really sleep due to my excitement to get home. I hear rustle to my right so I turn to see Dante walk out of the tent and stand next to the fire as he looks up towards the sky.

'I don't think he notices me.'

I stand up and walk towards him seeing that he still doesn't notice me.

Dante: "................"

"Nice night we're having, huh?"

Dante: "....... Hm? OH! Oh my goodness you scared me Lord Lorena! Don't ever sneak up on me like that again! I was about to draw my blades!"

"You should learn to restrain from acting before knowing the situation."

Dante: "Agreed but... geez I just finished training give me a break, whew... why are you awake so late? You do this a lot, huh?"

"I'm excited to get home."

Dante: "Heh, home... well... I would be too if I were you. It must be nice to have people to go back to... a place that you can call your own...

"... Did I say something...?"

Dante: "Eh? Um... kind of... it's a long story..."

"Well, we got a while until morning. Wanna tell me?"

Dante: "Eh... heh heh... I don't know if I want to tell you... or anyone for that matter..."

"You're going to be living with me, why not let me get to know you."

Dante: "True... uhm... but I did tell you it's a long story, so... you've been warned."

"I get it. Go on."

Dante: "Heh... well, it started when I was about 12 years old, quite a while ago... my older brother how to become the head Guard of our village and my parents couldn't have been more proud... to see their son, a Knight in shining armor... you can imagine I was in my older brother's shadow a lot, even so I looked up to him. He was a great person... but, he had his faults that he didn't allow the world to see. Behind closed doors he schemed a lot to get what he wanted, though in person he would seem like the Noble Knight I believed he was. I always looked past his faults, but that's because I think I just wanted someone to look up to and the way my parents put it... that person should have been my older brother..."

"Sounds like a lot of family issues."

Dante: "It wasn't as bad as it got... one day, my older brother discovered he had an amazing talent... the ability to wipe memories and change them - a kind of magicks - a very scary trait for someone who hides behind a mask. He has to get close to the forehead of someone who's memory he's trying to alter... going on, one day he fell in love with the Lord's daughter, but she rejected him. Heartbroken he made the attempt to break into her room and change her memories so she'd fall in love with him. He was caught in the act and sentenced to death by the Lord of the village. Before he was executed he swore vengeance in death..."

Dante: "Our family was so ashamed of him, all of his faults and schemes were exposed... we were planning to leave the village one night when we heard the screams... it was him, he had returned from the dead! My older brother... he was a monster, he went after the Lord and slayed him and then he... he achieved his true power..."
