Lorena's POV:

I go downstairs to gather some supplies for my trip and put them in my inventory. Once I'm done I go to baby Levin's room to say goodbye. When I walk in I see Zoey holding Levin and she looks up at me.

Zoey: "Hey Lorena! Glad to see you are finally awake."

"What are you doing here?"

Zoey: "Oh! My apologies, you must think weird of me just being here. Garroth asked me to babysit Levin while he and Dale worked on setting up defenses and posts around the house. For some reason Garroth knows of my magic abilities and figured I'd be the best one suited for caring for Levin. He's really protective and... very well informed. I'm not sure where he learned so much about me. Anywho, that's not the point. I'm charged with keeping Levin safe while you are gone.

Hey, Lorena..."

"Yes?"

Zoey: "If you do find Levin's mother... it's going to be hard on you to give him up, you know?"

I don't want her to see how attached I am to him so I try to put on a brave face and lie.

"I don't think so."

Zoey: "You say that now but... it's different when you're handing him over... Heh, nothing. You know... you don't have to do this. I mean what kind of mother loses a baby this precious?"

"Zoey he's not ours, maybe he was stolen..."

Zoey: "I-I'm so sorry... you're absolutely right! I don't know what came over me, maybe my past."

"Huh?"

Zoey: "It's a story for another time. You should get going Lorena, be careful. Do not worry one bit, I'll use my magic to make sure Levin is safe while you are gone. Plus Garroth is just outside! You are one lucky gal Lorena.

Take care!"

I nod my head and thank her giving a quick kiss to Levin while he's sleeping. I head upstairs and outside to see Garroth in front of my house.

Garroth: "Lorena, how do you feel about this?"

I feel sad and upset.

"This is the right thing to do."

Garroth: "Yes, it is. Now, here in this chest are a few things for your journey. Head to the docks when you are ready. Your ship has been prepared and Azura is waiting there for you. She was kind enough to come and bring over the full missing report."

"Gotcha, are you going to be okay?"

Garroth: "I'll be fine. I'm still recovering but at least I can wield a sword. Im saving my strength for anything that could happen so I'm having Dale set up some defenses around your house. It's also punishment for him and his recent behavior lately. Getting drunk on the job. * Sigh *

Anyway Lorena, be in your way and please... be safe."

I nod my head and thank him as I walk over to the chest and open it to see 2 potions of healing, a flower head band that I put on my head and a Frost Sword. I place the potions and Frost Sword in my inventory. I look over to my house and see a ladder going up to my roof. I climb it to see these wires being set up around my roof making it look like a prison. I see Dale panting out breath.

Dale: "* Pant, pant, pant * I swear after this I'll never touch a bottle again. Safe travels, Lorena!"

I giggle at him and Taft going down the ladder.

'Hopefully he'll learn his lesson this time.'

I start walking through the village to find my friends and say goodbye to them. I go to the houses in the back and see Donna and Brenden in the same place. I go up to Donna.

Donna: "Lorena... last night, a masked man came to visit Sasha. I didn't get a good look on his face, but... she started brewing many potions after she met with him. I told Garroth and he's upping security at your house. I don't know what Sasha is up to but I don't trust her. Brenden won't even listen to me. Logan thinks I should stay out of it."

I tell her that I'll be on watch as well but that I don't want her to get involved. She nods her head and I head over to Brenden.

Brenden: "Sasha is so smart! She's been busy mixing so many potions for an order. * Sigh * Do you think she'll ever love a farm-boy like me?..."

I just start walking away not wanting to get involved in his fantasies. I head to Sasha's door and knock.

Sasha: "Come in!"

I open the door and close it behind me. Sasha looks up at me and smiles.

Sasha: "Lorena! Brenden told me you were going out of town to try to find Levin's mom. That's so noble! Here, you should take this. It's a potion that might be able to help you, it's a potion of Fire Resistance - in case you come into any contact with Lava, this could really help. Be sure to rub it all over you, especially your neck.

Oh but be careful not to drop it on any animals! Well, take care!"

I nod my head and thank her as I take the potion and put it in my inventory. I head out of her house and towards the Plaza to say goodbye to anyone left. I see Logan come into view and walk up to him.

Logan: "Tell Donna to stay away from Sasha. Whatever she's up to is no one's business and I don't want Donna to get mixed up in something."

I nod my head and tell him that everything will be fine. Now that I've said my goodbyes I head over to the docks with Thorgi. As I arrive to the docks I see Azura just like Garroth said. I walk up to her and she walks up to me.

Azura: "Lorena, I'm sorry to skip the formalities, but Bright Port needs me back as soon as possible. The missing report reads as follows:

MISSING: Baby boy with Green Eyes and Brown Hair from the town of Scaleswind. Mother frantically looking for child.

"Green eyes and Brown hair" fits the description of Levin. There's nothing else to the report. Scaleswind is very far from here, so be ready.

Safe travels, Lorena."

I thank her and make my way into my ship. Garroth said that Scaleswind is in the South Region so I have to go South. I maneuver my ship to go South. I travel for a few minutes when suddenly I see many cats swimming in the ocean.

'What the...'

I keep swimming South trying to avoid going over the cats when suddenly I reach a small island with even more cats. I stop my ship next to the little island and get off walking over to a sign that reads...

Cat Island NO DOGS ALLOWED!

I'm baffled at the fact that dogs are no allowed so I'm glad I have Thorgi in my Lasso. I walk up to the small house on the island and hear the sound of meowing increasing each step I take towards the house. I knock on the door.

???: "Come in!"

I open the door and I'm pushed back by many cats running out of the house until the whole island is packed of them. I go in and see a lady.

Cat Lady: "HI THERE! I LOVE CATS! NO DOGS ALLOWED!

Traveling? YOU CAN STAY! Just don't step on the pee. The cats like their pee."

I look down at the bright yellow carpet and realize the yellow is not the color of the carpet but of the pee. I quickly run outside and wash my boots in the water. I decide to camp out here for tonight seeing as it got dark so I get a bunch of wood blocks and make a small house to sleep in. I place my bed inside and then the door. I open the door and head inside getting under the covers.

'I wonder what this journey will bring...'
