Lorena's POV:

"Zenix wait! I need to talk to you about —"

I was cut off by the sight before me. My eyes widen in shock by fire everywhere burning the cave. I try my best to put out the fire as I run outside to look for Zenix but the color drains from my face as I see the whole village on fire.

"D-Did Zenix do this...? No he wouldn't, at least he's safe that's all that matters."

I look around and notice Bodolf and his tribe trying to put out the fires. I run up to him and he sees me.

Bodolf: "Did you save Kiva?"

"Yes, I have her."

Bodolf: "Our tribe owes you immensely, however now isn't the time for celebration. Our village has been attacked by a..."

"... a what?"

Bodolf: "I... I don't know what it was. It was some kind of, shadow. However that wasn't the only thing, there was a man, a guard... a human guard at that, I wasn't able to see his face but it was for sure a human, he and his gang didn't smell of our kind."

"There were more...?"

Bodolf: "Yes, a girl with hair as white as snow and a man with eyes of water, they all had masks on so we can only assume it was the people of the village of Bright Port."

"No! It wasn't! They took the Lord!"

Bodolf: "They what...? If that is true they headed East of here. Do what you must but leave Kiva inside the cave. It is the safest spot for the pups as we're on guard until the flames do what nature intended. Come back when we have secured our home. Thank you for this, human. I will hold our assault on Bright Port until we have proof it wasn't them."

I nod my head and walk to the cave but it is surrounded by all of the werewolves from before.

Werewolf #7: "THIS ONE HATES THEM!"

Werewolf #6: "NO RESPECT FOR LIVES OF OTHERS, WE FIND. WE ATTACK LIKE THEY US!"

Werewolf #4: "IF THEY COME BACK WE WILL KILL THEM!"

Werewolf Mother: "PUPS MUST BE SAFE, LAST OF KIND!"

Werewolf #3: "Thank you for save Kiva, please lure danger away from here."

Werewolf #2: "This ground not safe anymore..."

I see go inside the cave and see Lowell and the wolf pup from before. Lowell sees me and runs up to me.

Lowell: "KIVA! SHE'S BACK I CAN SMELL HER HERE, ALIVE! THANK YOU LORENA! Not only did you save me but her, when I become Alpha I will always remember you."

I nod my head and thank him. I carefully walk up to the wolf pup as to not scare it.

Wolf pup: "Scared, so scared. Why is this?"

I give a small pout.

'Poor thing is scared out of its mind.'

I remember I still have Kiva in my Lasso so I let her out and she looks up at me.

Kiva: "Lorena, thank you so much. But... my home isn't as it was... I'm grateful but I don't know how to feel right now."

I nod my head understanding how confusing this all must be to her. She runs next to Bodolf's wife and I walk up to her. I learned her name was Khira shortly before I went into the Nether.
