Lorena's POV:

I just finished eating breakfast and I'm now just washing my plate and silverware as I hum to myself. I'm rinsing them off when suddenly I hear a bang and I turn to my right to see Laurence barged into my house and is out of breath.

Laurence: "LORENA... * huff *... WE... * huff *... HAVE A PROBLEM..."

I dry my hands and quickly walk up to him.

"Laurence, take a deep breath, then explain..."

He inhaled deeply and then exhales.

Laurence: "This morning we moved into the Guard Tower. When we looked out into the ocean we saw an O'Khasis Ship heading this way making ready to dock. We met with the Captain on the shore and it turns out the person who owns the Ship is one of the members of the Jury of Nine..."

The color drains of my face.

"WHY ARE THEY HERE!?"

Laurence: "I don't know, I wasn't able to see who the member was... as soon as we found out I ran straight here. I assume Garroth is meeting with them now but you deserve a formal audience with this person and need to make sure they aren't here for you."

"Should we prepare for battle?"

Laurence: "I don't think battle is something we advocate for, but if I were you I'd come prepared just in case. Quick, go grab your weapons and armor and we can head to the docks, but do not equip them - maybe they might actually be here on peaceful terms and we don't want to give them a reason to see if we provoked them."

"Agreed. Hang on one second."

He nods his head as I quickly run downstairs to get my armor and sword. I place them in my inventory so they don't see I have it on me. I run back upstairs and towards Laurence.

"Okay, I'm ready!"

I follow him as he leads me towards the docks and a little far off I can see a big ship with light blue sails. At the docks I see Garroth, Dante, 2 O'Khasis Guards and the member of the Jury of Nine. I hear them talk as we slowly approach.

???: "I seek audience with your Lord, not her Head Guard."

Garroth: "Before you get to her you address me."

???: "Just because you are the son of the Lord of O'Khasis does not mean I wouldn't hesitate to pull your tongue from your—"

"Hey! Wait a minute, that's completely uncalled for!"

Everyone then looks at me as I walk towards them.

???: "My most humble of apologies, a young lady like yourself should not have seen that exchange of words. Might I ask who you might be?"

"Tell me who you are first."

???: "Indeed, my sincerest of apologies. My name is Lady Katelyn the Fire Fist, elite member of the Jury of Nine. I come from the village of O'Khasis to discuss business with the Lord of Phoenix Drop."

"I-It's nice to meet you, Katelyn. I am Lorena. Lord of Phoenix Drop."

Katelyn: "I knew I was speaking to a woman of power from the moment I laid eyes on you. Do you think that perhaps you and I could discuss what I have to say in private? Say, on my Ship?"

"I don't think I feel comfortable going aboard, I'm sorry."

Katelyn: "Understandable. After all, why be at sea when we are perfectly fine here on land. Then I seek audience with you wherever you feel comfortable. No Guards, just you and me."
