Lorena's POV:

Last night I went out to search for the wolf child's parents but no one was there so the little boy asked me to wait one more night. I head over to talk to the little boy doing my sneaky routine.

Little boy: "My mommy won't let me go outside since... my dad, well you know.

Anyway, sorry it's taking so long to get in contact with Lowell's parents. I thought they would be here last night but... I think something happened.

I'm sure they'll arrive tonight - if not, you might have to go looking for them."

"Who's Lowell?"

Little boy: "The little wolf pup you're carrying silly!"

"Oh! So um, where do I meet his parents?"

Little boy: "You can meet his parents somewhere around the docks at night. Be careful when you approach them though, they're not very happy with the people of this village and tend to attack anyone that isn't me or my mom..."

"Why don't they attack you?"

Little boy: "Heh, heh... well, it's a long story and I don't want to tell it right now. Not with my mom in the house. Anyway, it might be best if you just hung out around town for today - maybe do something productive around here."

"Wait, aren't you going to give me some information about the missing Lord?"

Little boy: "Oh! That's right I almost forgot. Sorry I got so excited that you found Lowell... so, you need to talk to the wolf parents about the missing Lord.

They know something about that."

"Wait... did they take him!?"

Little boy: "What? NO! Why does everyone think the werewolves are the bad guys here! Just... trust me, don't judge them by how they look... I mean, sure they get a little aggressive and—"

"What's wrong?"

Little boy: "My mom is looking over here. Sorry, you'll just have to trust me. Tell them John sent you. Goodbye... and, thank you so much again."

I get up and Merida walks up to me.

Merida: "I think it's best you leave my house now. You're up to something with my son, and I don't appreciate you going behind my back to involve my boy in something that could possibly cause him to end up like my husband - who's killer you still haven't found any leads on!

GET OUT!"

I wince and rush out of the house. I walk around the village and see Azura. She told me her name yesterday when we were talking and getting to know each other.

Azura: "Did you find out anything?"

"Yes, but I'll have to do some more digging first."

Azura: "That's wonderful! Tell me everything."

The little boy doesn't want me to tell anyone about Lowell and I don't want him to get locked up again so I lie and tell her I found a footprint.

Azura: "A footprint? Interesting. I'll go investigate it immediately.

Where was it exactly?"

"At the Lord's house."

Azura: "Are you sure? I've been there and didn't see anything."

"I meant to say in the Hunter's house."

Azura: "In Omar's house? Omar the Hunter...?

Well, it's his house I don't know why there wouldn't be any footprints. Unless you mean a werewolf footprint, he's been hunting those bastards for the town. I have a feeling they took the Lord, but I have no proof, regardless they taken people from us before, but I thought we had a treaty between... ugh, nevermind. It's politics and I don't do that - I'm a guard, skilled in the art of combat, not negotiations. In any case, I'll go investigate Omar, now that I think of it... he might know something.
