Lorena's POV:

I'm sitting on my table as I'm drinking some Lavender tea that Zoey made this morning before she went upstairs with Levin and Malachi. I then hear a knock on my door and turn to see Lady Katelyn with her 2 Guards. I sigh as I place my tea down and I walk towards my doors and open them.

Katelyn: "Good morning Lady Lorena."

"Good morning Lady Katelyn..."

Katelyn: "I come bearing gifts. Here."

She hands me a bag that is very heavy as I look to her confused.

"What do I owe you for these gifts...?"

Katelyn: "You owe me nothing. It's just a symbol of my gratitude for allowing me to stay here while I wait word from Bright Port."

"T-Thank you, but what is it?"

Katelyn: "It's technically not a gift for you per se. It's a gift for your Guards - they are poorly uniformed. Not to mention Garroth is in the oldest O'Khasis Knight-In-Training uniform ever... it's just a sad sight to see for someone of his and Laurence's strength."

"Wait, you know of Laurence?"

Katelyn: "Of course I do. Any Guard who makes the Jury of Nine waiting list is well known to any member of the Jury of Nine. Phoenix Drop is very lucky to have THREE Guards who are on that list. Usually villages only have one or none."

"I didn't know Dante was on that list..."

Katelyn: "Hm, well maybe you should get to know your Guards a little bit better, eh? We're going back to my Ship now, if you ever want to come aboard signal the Captain of the Ship. I'd be more than happy to have you aboard for dinner one of these days.

Let's go, men."

I watch her walk away as I go back inside to clean my cup when I see Zoey standing on the stairs looking confused.

Zoey: "Who was that?"

"Katelyn the Fire Fist."

Zoey: "K-Katelyn the Fire Fist...?"

"You know her?"

Zoey: "Of course I know her, she's a member of the Jury of Nine... are you in trouble Lorena?"

I don't want to worry her with the real reason why she's here so I decide to lie to her.

"Katelyn is just passing by."

Zoey: "Whew, that's a relief. Well, I'm going back upstairs to finish reading Levin and Malachi a book before nap time. They're really getting into the book we got from Laurence, haha!"

I giggle as she walks upstairs and I make my way towards the table and pick up my cup of tea. I take it towards the kitchen and I wash it and dry it. I then head out of the house and walk towards the Guard Tower. I walk inside and climb the ladder all the way to the top level. I step up to see Dante looking out one open window, Laurence through another and Garroth as well. I walk up to Garroth.

"Hey Garroth."

He then turns around.

Garroth: "Lord Lorena, a pleasure to see you. You'll be happy to know that no suspicious activity has occurred since Katelyn arrived - however we are not giving up on keeping an eye on her."

"Thank you, but I have a gift for you guys from her."

I then hand him the bag as he opens it.

Garroth: "Y-You do? Hm... new armor...? Wait this is— all right, we'll wear them. Hang on here one second."
