You got this princess?

Fuck I loathe this from the bottom of my heart.

She is in her own damn car, unwell because of her stomach, and I am here with the guys while they cheer for the win. I should celebrate with them that we finally got in the finals after the UBM hockey team tried for years, but I can't bring myself to. Trust me I want to.

"What's up, cap?" Ostin plops down in the seat next to me, swinging his arm around my shoulder. I would tear his arm of his body if it wasn't so useful for me, just for touching me right this second. "Damn 'something bit you in the ass?"

"Can't access her medical records." I mutter as I glance down at my phone for the thousands time now. Someone blocked the access to Storm's records, so I am left empty handed to help her and analyse her situation and needs. It pisses me the fuck off.

I know she is hiding something bigger than she implies with her stomach pain. But that motherfucker Liam blocked all access to her situation, leaving me completely in the dark. So all I can do now is get Greyson to give me is number, so I can ask him for updates when she is in Hemfield.

Liam is smart. He hides it well. He makes god damn sure of it when it concerns her.

"Shit. Can't you ask Greyson?" Ostin asks. He isn't comfortable when he knows that Storm can be in danger. I nod my head to my phone.

My phone vibrates in my hand, and I see that Greyson send me Liam's number. I don't waste a second to send him a message asking him for all the updates that concern her when she gets to Hemfield. Doing this is literally a stab to my ego, but I don't give a damn.

Knowing that she is safe is worth more than anything.

I hate to admit that anxiety is biting through my barrier, and the wobbling bus is not helping to ease any of it. Neither does my splitting headache. Rain starts to pour down on us, not making the situation better and Louis curses next to us.

"Better pray that the girls know how to drive in the rain." He mutters under his breath, just as the bus slightly slides on the road from the amount of downpour we are going through. I couldn't agree more.

I don't doubt my princess's driving skills. But I doubt the one of the people around us.

My mind does win over and I take my phone out to check on her location she once agreed to share with me. They aren't far behind. But why the fuck are they behind us in the first place? They should be in front of us.

"We should honestly take a break, because this rain is just about to-"

Ostin doesn't get to finish his sentence.

In a second, the wheels under the vehicle are heavily turned to the side, the breaks activating. My body jerks to the front seat and I manage just in time to stop Ostin's body from propulsing to the front seat by putting my arms across his body.
