Guess who's back

My entire body is sore as I wiggle out of Rhys's grasp and stand up on my very unstable legs.

He did not go soft on me yesterday. Thank god he didn't, because that was the best night of my life. He could barely keep his hands off of me, as he drove us back to his penthouse.

"Come back to bed, princess." Rhys groans, his voice still husky from sleep. I chuckle at his need, swatting his hand away when he attempts to grab my waist and tug me back into bed.

"Someone is calling in case you haven't noticed," I turn to face him just in time to see him staring down at my very naked body. A smirk lingers on his lips when he catches me staring back with a severe look.

"Couldn't care less when I have the body of a goddess right in front of me. A beauty that is entirely mine."

My heart missed a beat at his words, as my insides melt simultaneously. I do not deserve this man.

I snap back to reality not once taking my eyes off his, as my hand reaches for the phone displayed on the floor. Yeah... we didn't really have time for much setting things down when we entered the bedroom.

Rhys is not a patient man.

"It's Greyson," I say, my lips breaking into an unconscious smile. "Hi, Grey-"

"Don't. You. Fucking 'hi Grey' me Liliana," His voice booms in the phone. I wince, quickly removing the device from my ear to avoid breaking my eardrum. What has gotten into him? He is usually so calm... "It's been fucking EIGHT HOURS since I called you, and I haven't heard from you since! Jesus, could you at least pick up your phone, send me a text... ANYTHING?"

Fuck. I forgot to update him after yesterday's phone call.

"You're right. I should have called. We just got tangled up in that mess, so I didn't really have a clear mind. Calling you back wasn't my top priority..." my eyes wander off to see the mischief glowing bright in Rhys's eyes. Gosh, how does a simple look from him make my entire body tingle and heat up like this.

"But you truly did save me, Grey. Thank you." I turn around in attempt to focus back on the call, and not on my man, whom is waiting for me. "Even Rhys says thank you."

That earns me a scoff from both men.

"He wouldn't," Greyson mumbles, clearly seeing through my lie. But either way, he continues to scold me and demands to know what happened.
