I sit down on my bed and watch the rain fall from outside my window.

I smile.

I turn the TV on and check the weather since I don't have a cell phone.

It's going to storm the next few days.

Awesome!

I peel off my tank top and slip out of my shorts. No need to ruin my clothes.

I turn quickly, the sounds of bones breaking and transforming ends quickly. Since I spent so much time in wolf form back in the mountains, turning had become quicker.

I take off into the woods on all fours, excited for a new place to explore. The wind feels nice on my black fur.

I press my nose to the ground and breathe in.

Deer.

I listen closely when to the North a twig snaps. I take a few steps forward and hop on a tree that had fallen into another making it land at a slight angle.

Another inhale.

I open my eyes and move up higher on the tree. Scanning the tree line I look for movement. There's nothing until I hear the sound of a bush rustle nearby. I look back over and spot him.

Standing about 30 feet away is a buck, his brown antlers making the bush shake as he eats the bright green leaves.

I stand still for a moment.

He doesn't notice.

I lunge and sprint as fast as I can and chase him. He gallops ahead of me a few paces. I dodge a tree and swing around knocking him to the ground and I sink my teeth into his neck.
