Klaus's POV:
I hand Hope a plate of apple slices and sip blood from a glass. I didn't want to worry Lorelei with the recent news. I may come to regret that later but for now, until we know what we are up against, I don't want to worry her.
We can't be certain who is coming after Freya.
As I stare at my daughter as she happily sits chewing her apples and giggling, a thought occurs to me.
"What're you doing sweetie?" Hayley asks Hope as she moves to sit on the floor beside her
Hope smiles at her mom and gives her an apple slice. Hayley thanks her and accepts it, happily munching the gift.
"Do you mind watching over her for a moment? I have an idea of how to help Freya but I need to speak with Kol." I say
"Yeah I've got her." Hayley says eyes not leaving Hope's.
I find Kol feeding on a man just outside the compound. I wait for him to finish knowing that this will go better if I do. He heals and compels the man away.
"Could you be able to identify the woman if you had access to Freya's memory?" I ask
"It's been a few centuries since then." Kol says
"I'm aware, but is it possible?" I ask
He shrugs.
"Let's find out."
We join Freya in the study. I stand in the back of the room as Kol walks over to her. Freya closes her eyes as does Kol. They are silent for a few moments and I wonder if it's working.
"That's her alright." Kol says
The spell ends and Freya asks to know more about this woman.
"You know about as much as I do. My best guess is the obvious. She's come for revenge." Kol says to her
"How could she still be alive after all this time?" Elijah asks as he walks into the room to join us
"I'm not sure." Freya says
They are all focused on the wrong tasks. We should be out there ending the threat before it shows up at our door.
"I doubt it really matters. If she comes, she will have to go through all of us to get anywhere close to you." I say to her
