I follow Nik into the study. He paces silently.
"Look I know you didn't like the plan-" I begin
"Lorelei not only did you go behind my back but you also had my brother aid you in your treachery." Nik interrupts
"Getting a witch would've taken way too long. You guys needed answers quickly and-"
"You turned against me!" He snaps
"I'm sorry Nik I was only trying to help." I insist
He doesn't look at me and I turn and walk away. Elijah is still standing out on the porch.
He stands there with his hands in his pockets staring out at the stars.
"He hates me." I say with a sigh
"Nikklaus does not handle any action he sees as a betrayal very well. I've seen him kill people for less than what we've done." He says
"Comforting." I say sarcastically
Elijah turns to face me.
"Lorelei we did what we had to do. Because of you we now have an advantage. We know that Mikael is out there, no doubt trying to hunt us down. He doesn't know we know and that gives us time to come up with a plan."
I nod and as I take off into the woods to hunt, I just hope he's right.
